Ardis Ann Middle School TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

No matter where the students might be in their learning, it

is my job as a teacher to meet them where they are and to
help them grow into the future of our communities that
they can and will become. It's my desire to create an
atmosphere of learning that is stimulating, creative, fun
and safe for all students. One of my core beliefs is that one
of the best ways to learn is by doing, and although there
will be some imperfect outcomes with this method, those
outcomes will help students grow in their learning and
teach them the vital skills of being reflective and relentless
as they mature. I believe my role as an educator is to be a
guide as students participate in activities, take part in
cooperative, hands-on learning and explore the content
and concepts that will inspire them to reach their fullest
potential.
