Year Level/ Section: BSN-1A

This section looks at the process of coming out when and how it happens, how difficult it
is and what impact it has on relationships. Realizing their sexual orientation or gender identity
and sharing that information with family and friends is often a gradual process that can unfold
over a sense at year. The illustration shows that the boy actually lives with happiness for what he
has done. However, this picture really gives a deep meaning. People who make the image are
individuals or also groups who want to give their viewers peace and enlightenment about the
issue of gender by suggesting the message using a male boy wearing red high heels. At first
glance, the red high heels grabbed my attention. During the boy's happy moments, the setting of
the image is probably taken where it shows a bigger picture. Likewise, the illustration of the boy
shows his real color. People have different understanding and beliefs for them they would think
it was just a boy playing with the heels, but the true definition comes out as I analyzed the
picture. I assume that people can't underestimate us by who we are and by what they see.
Everyone has the strength inside, and as long as we don't harm others, we are free to use it. The
background of the image is at the house he's free to do whatever he wants. His smile shows the
pleasure of what he is doing. Being strong gives him the confidence to be open of his true color.
It can be seen that the boy is wearing red heels. This symbolizes that he is giving clue about his
sexual preferences. This image implies on how people especially young people, give us clues
about their sexual preference. Basically, the illustration wanted to raise awareness through its
viewers and to accept the fact that persons can be opposite to what sex they have. It required us
to free ourselves and come out of our shells because it doesn't make us less of a human to be
different from others.
