Online vs traditional education

. Introduction
The revolution in information technology dramatically impacted billions of human beings' lives,
primarily through the influential internet tool (Nie and Erbring, 2000). This storm of wireless
technology affected several fields, including education. Education is not only considered very
important for the development of individual but also for development whole community and
society. Schools, colleges, and universities have been initiating this effort for hundreds of years.
However, it is not available for everyone to get an education from universities through this online system,
especially for those who live in developing parts of the world because of many reasons (Tobin, 2015).
Pakistan, as a developing country, online education faced many difficulties because, according to the new
survey in 2019 of Telecommunication Authority (PTA), only 36.86 percent 0f the total population has
access to broadband internet (PTA, 2019).

Arg 1 A need for technological equipment and a good internet connection:

The biggest challenge of online education is the availability of internet resources. As a developing
country, Pakistan has no such advanced technological system that provides an equal standard of the
internet in all its area. Whie when we take about the traditional education system students are all on the
same pitch and all have same standard of opportunity
Arg 2
Affect of Students' Emotions on Learning
Emotion is often linked with constituents like feeling, motivation, etc., which are not in our
hands. It is said that emotions impact students' understanding of information processing and
understanding of what they have been taught. So it is better if the teachers can create emotionally
safe learning environments and guide the students so that they can manage their feelings and
emotions up to some extent when they are engaged in learning. Teachers can help the students to
manage their emotions by teaching them violence control, dispute resolution, and the team
working.

Arg 3
Effect on student learning
According to Goleman, a good and expert teacher can identify a student's emotional state and deal with
the student according to his/her emotion and adequately to leave a positive impact on the student and lead
to enhancing the student's learning process. However, there is no monitor when it comes to online
education.
flexibility in timing
Online education allows students to attain classes whenever and wherever they want. The class timing is
flexible, so the student can create a personal study plan with their needs in mind. There’s no need to give
up anything because of a lack of time. While in the traditional education system, students are bind to their
fixed class scheduled, and their academic planning is according to them.
