Comments:
Rising gradient is used for a particular region having decreasing slope. It
gives us the desired Formation Level(F.L). This desired level helps us in
sewage and drainage purposes and for better construction of roads and
bridges.
Falling gradient is used for a region having increasing slope. It gives us the
desired formation level. This desired level can be helpful in mountainous
places.
Constant gradient is used where the surface is to be kept flat e.g. in plain
areas. The Formation level is same throughout the surface.
