appear on all slides. When you make any change to these characteristics of the

company logo or the date on every slide, you can place it on the SlideMaster.

The TitleMaster controls the look of the title slides.

The Handout master controls the look of student handouts.

The Notes Pages Master controls the look of Speaker notes.

Formatting Text and bullets throughout a presentation

Formatting the placeholders in the SlideMaster view makes text objects consistent
across all slides in a presentation. The master placeholders determine the style and
position of those text objects- the title, bulleted text, date and time, slide number
and footer.

In addition to formatting text, you can customize the bullets for individual bullet
points in an object. You can change a bullet’s font, style and color and you can
replace it with picture or number. You can also control indents as follows

 The First line indent marker controls the first line of the paragraph

 The Hanging indent marker controls the left edge of the remaining lines of
the paragraph.

 The left indent marker controls how far the entire paragraph sits from the
edge of the text object.

Open the FormatMaster presentation.

Switch to SlideMaster view.
