Nose Bleeding

If someone is having a nose bleed, your priority is to control the bleeding and keep their airway open.

minutes, until the bleeding stops.

Ah Tim
A Woman and the Wolves
A long time ago, very few people lived in the New Territories. There were only a few villages. If the people
wanted to go from one village to another, they often had to pass through wild and unsafe forest.
One day, a farmer’s young wife went to the next village to visit her own mother and brother. She brought
along her baby son. When it was time for her to leave, her brother said “ it is getting dark. Let my son, Ah Tim
go with you though the forest.”
So Ah Tim led the way and the young woman followed behind, carrying her baby. When they were in the
forest, suddenly they saw a group of wolves. They began to run to avoid the danger, but Ah Tim kicked against
a stone and fell down. At once the wolves caught him. The young woman cried to the wolves, “ please eat my
own son instead.” Then, she put her baby son on the ground in front of the wolves and took her nephew away.
Everyone understood that this was because the woman was very good and kind. She had offered her own
son’s life to save her nephew.

A cat and a fox story
One day a cat and a fox were having a conversation. The fox, who was a conceited creature, boasted how
clever she was. “Why, I know at least a hundred tricks to get away from our mutual enemies, the dogs,” she
said.
“I know only one trick to get away from dogs,” said the cat. “You should teach me some of yours!”
“Well, maybe someday, when I have the time, I may teach you a few of the simpler ones.” Replied the fox
airily. Just then they heard the barking of a pack of dogs in the distance. The barking grew louder and louder,
the
dogs were coming in their direction! At once the cat ran to the nearest tree and climbed into its branches, well
out of reach of any dog. “This is the trick I told you about, the only one I know,” she called down to the fox. “
Which one of your hundred tricks are you going to use?”
The fox sat silently under the tree, wondering which trick she should use. Before she could make up her
mind, the dogs arrived. They fell upon the fox and tore her to pieces.
A single plan that works is better than a hundred doubtful plans.
Formalin
The use of formalin and other dangerous preservatives in food has been serious problem for three reasons.
Firstly, formalin is not for human beings, but it is for biological specimens and experiments. Formalin in Biology

health is really in a threat. When the control is weak and the use formalin was spread wide all over the
Indonesian regions, and these days it has really happened, the citizen's bodies will be badly contaminated with
the poisons. Fish or food traders still sell their products which contain formalin and dangerous preservatives.

A Wolf in Sheep Clothing
There was a big wolf. He was waiting for a chance to steal a sheep, but the shepherd and his dog
continuously chased him away. After a week, the wolf began to get very hungry, and thought, "I must
find a way to get close to the sheep." It was by luck that he found a sheep's skin. He carefully pulled
the skin over his body so that none of his grey fur showed under the white sheep skin. Then he could
walk in easily and now he was in the middle of the herd.

The big wolf knew that the most delicious sheep were the lambs, or the young sheep. He then
imitated the voice of a ewe or a mother sheep. He could easily cheat a lamb who thought that he was
its mother. And, the lamb followed him to the woods. There, he eventually ate the innocent lamb. For
many days, he could eat as many lambs as his stomach could take. The big wolf got bigger and bigger
everyday. Now he looked like the biggest sheep on earth.

One day the shepherd was planning to hold a party. He would invite many relatives and friends. So,
he decided to slaughter the biggest sheep from the herd. The shepherd approached the biggest
sheep very slowly and carefully. Guess who it was? The wolf, of course, who was fully covered by the
white sheep skin! But, the wolf was so fat that he could not run and fight for his safety. Very easily the
shepherd slaughtered him, chopped him, and then cooked him for the big party.

Brandenburg Gate
Brandenburg Gate is more than just a quick photo opportunity. It's steeped in so much history, has been the
backdrop for many historical events, and is a main landmark in Germany -- symbolizing peace and turmoil.
Plus, it's central to other key landmarks in the city.Certainly it becomes one of the more photogenic locations
in town with a lovely gate as the background, especially when the sky is blue.
Historically it used to be the entrance to Berlin, where the goddess of peace was installed on the top of the
gate until the French (Napolean) stole the statue for his private museum collection which the Germans took
back when the Prussians defeat the French 8 years later and renamed her the goddess Victoria (victory)
instead. Napoleon is said to have walked through its gates. Presidents John F. Kennedy, Ronald Reagan, Bill
Clinton, and Barack Obama visited or spoke at the gate. It's the finish line of the Berlin Marathon. And much,
much more.
I'd recommend visiting with a guide to get the full history roundup, and perhaps go when the weather is nice
to spend ample time in the area. I visited in the fall when the weather was cold, with a constant drizzle. It also
happened to be the Festival of Lights week -- which meant this structure was illuminated with a lively rotating

High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI)
Short for High Definition Multimedia Interface, HDMI is a connector and cable capable of transmitting high-
quality and high-bandwidth streams of audio and video between devices. The HDMI technology is used with
devices such as an HDTV, Projector, DVD player, or Blu-ray player.
The HDMI standard was developed by multiple companies, including Hitachi, Philips, Sony, and Toshiba. A
single HDMI cable replaces the three composite audio/video cables, making it easier to connect two devices
together for transmitting audio and video signals. HDMI is capable of transmitting standard, enhanced, and
high-definition video signals, as well as up to 8-channels of digital audio signals.
The length of HDMI cables varies significantly. They can run from one foot all the way up to 50 feet, though it's
not recommended that users buy more than a 25 foot cable as it may result in signal degradation or loss.
The HDMI ports are found either on the video card or motherboard on the back of the computer. It is
important to note that not all computers and video cards have HDMI connects, and your computer may only
have a Display Port, DVI, or VGA connector.

Angry mountains
Angry mountains of fire! There are hot spots in the Earth's crust where heat melts underground rock. As the
rock melts, gases are released and mix with molten rock called magma. The magma bubbles and rises, cutting
through the rock, creating a channel. It then accumulates in a magma chamber deep underground. Over time,
high pressure caused by both the magma and gases build up in the chamber, forcing the magma to rise and
causing the volcano to form as a mountain. Then it violently explodes out the top and even the sides of the
volcano! Fiery rocks and ash rain down from out of the sky after an eruption. But sometimes, lava, which is

(Oryctolagus cuniculus), cottontail rabbits (genus Sylvilagus; 13 species), and the Amami rabbit (Pentalagus

Europe, Southeast Asia, Sumatra, some islands of Japan, and in parts of Africa and South America. They are not
