To Whom It May Concern:

It is with much pleasure and enthusiasm that I am writing this letter of recommendation for
Esraiel Chandler. As one of his professors, I can say that he demonstrates leadership qualities,
perseverance, and a strong work ethics. Esraiel has been in several of my course in all the
courses he has demonstrated creativity and a passion for working with students of all ages. It was
evident in his research that he has a strong determination to work with students who need
academic, social emotional, and college and career support.

Esraiel’s passion goes beyond his academic success, he is an example of someone who
perseveres, despite any obstacle. He is determined to help others in any way possible. He is a
role model to his students. He strives for excellence and exceeds it.

Esraiel is able to find a balance between his work and community service. He has a calm and
positive demeanor, which allows him to work well independently as well as with a team.

Esraiel has excellent communication skills. His written work is both clear and concise, as well as
interesting to read. He was able to learn the material given to him and apply it during his training
as a school counselor.

Overall, Esraiel is highly intelligent and has good people skills. He is familiar with and uses the
American school counselor association model and advocates for the profession. His overall
intelligence is also reflected in his grades for the course.

It is my strong opinion that Esraiel would be a tremendous addition to your school, he has my
highest recommendation. Please feel free to contact me at euniceh7@usc.edu if you have any
questions regarding his character or past academic work.

Sincerely,

Dr. Eunice Humphrey
