To Whom It May Concern,

It is my pleasure to recommend Ellisyn Jackson as her Honors Biology teacher this year at
Basehor-Linwood High School. Ellisyn has many characteristics that I believe will make her a successful
young woman in the near future. She shows excellent academic skills, is self-motivated and creative, and
possesses excellent interpersonal skills.

Ellisyn has all the qualities of a superior student. She has an excellent memory for recall of facts,
excellent concentration and thus the ability to focus herself well. She also has the ability to be flexible
and to think "on her feet" to calmly confront problems. As her classroom teacher, I have also witnessed
the breadth of her organizational and study skills, which are certainly crucial to the success of any
student. She has a great work ethic. As a direct result of these skills and mindsets, she is boasts a grade
point average of 4.0 even before adding the weight that comes with taking Honors courses. This
accomplishment alone is most impressive.

However, the ability to succeed in an academic setting is only part of the total package of this
student. Ellisyn has coupled with her perfect "A" average a love of competitive dance and has plans to be
a part of a college level dance team following high school. Dance requires a ton of time and dedication of
its own and this extracurricular effort, along with her academic work, has helped to make Ellisyn an
extremely well-rounded individual.

Above all, what is perhaps Ellisyn’s best attribute is her personal nature. It seems we all know an
intelligent or well-learned person who did not achieve his or her dream because of a lack of interpersonal
skills. This will not be an issue for Miss Jackson. She not only enjoys excellent relationships with her
peers, teachers, and others around her. She never seems to let her busy life allow her to be anything but
pleasant to be around. Her understated confidence makes her a great team-member as well as an
outstanding individual.

I was pleased recently to find that Ellisyn intends to pursue a career in healthcare, or perhaps
even coupled with social work in some way. Such a choice will certainly allow her to make excellent use
of skills she is displaying in Honors Biology. I would enthusiastically recommend Ellisyn Jackson for any
future opportunities you might have to support her in continuing to grow her passions. You would
certainly be lucky to have her a member of your team.

Sincerely,

Sean P. Nash
