Rationale:
Young generation today confuses lust with love. The world portrays
love as something that teenagers, young adults and even couples can just play
around with. If it doesn’t thrill anymore, then it needs to be dumped at all like
a toy. One of the problems the biblical church has to wrestle with today, is
the subtle way lust masquerades itself as the one true love.
Lusting love is not and will never be satisfied. It will always want more
but will never have. It steals an ought-to-be season of friendship. It betrays
trust. It ruins marriage life and family. It never lasts.
Furthermore, young people today don’t really like the idea of settling
into a life-time commitment. They simply enjoy the “happily ever after” of
the story and not the responsibilities attached in having a relationship.
From the very beginning, the Scripture flatly and boldly challenges this
worldly concept of love, and calls every young people, young adults and
married couples back to the biblical portrayal of love—a love that lasts.

Objectives:
1. To define lust, and closely inspect it through the grid of Scripture;
2. To identify in someone’s life where lust manifests itself in relation to
opposite sex;
3. To resolve, that one of the root problems of young generation’s
perpetual struggle with Biblical relationship, is lust;
4. To challenge every young generation’s distorted, illicit concept of
being a relationship, and prove that the Bible provides the only and
correct alternative.
5. To provide alternatives as a way out for those who are already
entangled with lusting love; and,
6. To help our young generation to think how they can pursue, develop
and nurture a God-honoring brothers/sisters kind of relationship at the
moment, without sacrificing the potentiality of being in an intimate
relationship with someone in the future.
