• Black Sea Offshore Centre (BSOC) was formed in 2018 to provide Security Risk Management,
Compliance Assurance, Technological Optimisation & Inspection services.
• Our mission is to provide high quality services, emphasize safety at competitive cost.
• Since 2018 BSOC actively adopts the widely used international management standards, based
on ISO 9001 by establishing an Integrated Management System in order to facilitate continuous
improvement of services and product quality, safety and environmental protection performance,
and become a key service provider and approved supplier for various clients like
KazMunayGaz, Fincantieri or OMV.
• BSOC staff have a team of inspectors EN 473 and ASTM standards Levels II and III in all major
NDT methods including, Visual Inspection, Radiographic Interpretation, Coating Inspections,
Welding Inspection.
• BSOC also specialize in providing commercial inspection management software tools; Clients
and these systems are also applied to contracts run by BSOC in order to ensure accurate
reporting, QC/QA, and efficient project management for clients.

PLANNING, INSPECTION, QUALITY CONTROL
• Inspections are a key function of QA/QC on new build or in-service outage, around', and
shutdown activities, and is called upon by insurance and statutory regulations as a requisite for
integrity assurance.
• The planning and management of inspection activities, combined with a professional support
service, helps to minimize the intrusion of inspection activities on an outage or turnaround ‘strip
& re-build’ programme, while ensuring all work is carried out and reported efficiently, to the
relevant standards.
• QC personnel have many years of experience in planning, managing and carrying out provided
inspections on all aspects as new and old constructions, fabrication yards, pipelay, power and
process plant onshore and offshore bases.

OUR EQUIPMENT
WELDING INSPECTION
Welding Inspectors are employed to assist with the quality control (QC) activities that are
necessary to ensure that welded items will meet specified requirements and be fit for their
application.
Our Quality Control Inspectors have the ability to understand/interpret the various QC procedures
and also have sound knowledge of welding technology.
MAGNETIC INSPECTION
• Magnetic particle test is a method that magnetizes test material made of ferromagnetic material
by applying magnetic field to detect discontinuity(flaw) on the surface and subsurface, and then
observes the size, location, and shape of the magnetic indication that result from leaks in
magnetic field.
• Application :
- heat treatment Area, Area machining, Manufacture Works, Equipment in engines, Shafts, Gears,
Power plant, Steel Structure, Pipe Line, Refinery, Fabrication work, Construction work.
DYE PENETRANT TESTING
• Liquid penetrant testing is a method used to detect surface flaws on large surface areas. It is
very fast, economical and can be applied to a large number of components and materials. It can
also be used to reveal surface connected flaws
• Application :
- The liquid penetrant testing is applied to almost all materials
- Type of flaw: Fatigue cracks, Quench cracks, Laps, Seams, Pinholes in welds, Lack of
fusion or braising along the edge of the bond line
MANUAL ULTRASONIC TESTING
• Ultrasonic test is a method that can identify discontinuity that exists inside of the test material.
Ultrasonic tests used in industrial area is used not only in detecting lamination, crack, and
inclusions that are contained in discontinuity of base materials
• Application
- Inner Crack Inspection of Several Metals (Forging, Casting, Rolling, Ingots)
- Inspection of Welding, Bar, Pipe, Tank, Etc.

COATING INSPECTION
Holyday detection, thickness measurements, dust levels checking, salt level measurements, etc.
We have specialized and certified coating inspection personnel
Technicians are well-versed in and adhere to numerous standards and practices established by
industry authorities.
ROPE ACCESS INSPECTION
NDT with rope access can be performed from the outside as well as from the inside (confined
space).
Our comprehensive reports contain precise details of areas of wastage/damage, drawings,
photographs, staging and coating requirements.
UNDERWATER INSPECTION
On offshore assets the damage mechanisms are accelerated due to various factors such as
environment (salt water, weather) or the high percentage of corrosion accelerators (sea water,
bacterial corrosion, H2S, etc.). Having these in sight, extensive care should be taken in
maintenance projects. NDT plays a major role in preventing damages that can affect production
and environment alike by providing accurate information about the state of the inspected items.
