“Stalk-Her”

MUSIC:

A melodic drum which mirrors a heartbeat begins, the shots change with the sound of every other
beat.

TITLE CARD - Production Companies

FADE IN:
EXT. HILL CLIFF - NIGHT

Establishing shot that looks over towards the town center from a high mountain showing an overall
picture of the location that the film is set in and all the activity below.

FADE TO BLACK:
EXT. CANTILEVER BRIDGE - NIGHT

Establishing shot that is based under a bridge shows the scale of the area and the activity
happening around.

MUSIC:

The melodic drum continues but changes to a deeper tone.


FADE TO BLACK:
EXT. BRIDGE FOOT - NIGHT

Establishing shot of an old overgrown train track which gives an idea to the audience about the
town and what kind of place the film is set in.

FADE TO BLACK:
EXT. GOLDEN SQUARE - NIGHT

Establishing shot of a large industry building shows the types of places in the town and what its like
in the center of town

FADE TO BLACK:
EXT. TESCO CAR PARK - NIGHT

Establishing a shot of a large empty parking lot shows how empty the town can be at night and
how little activity there is, almost making it frightening because of the lack of people.

FADE TO BLACK:
INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

An extreme close-up of the girl's eyes slowly looking up towards the camera shows a scared
expression on her face, the low key lighting creates mystery for the audience about who this
is and what is happening. She has her hair down covering parts of her face, and the camera
size restricts the audience's vision of who she is.

FADE TO BLACK:
“Stalk-Her”

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

A medium long shot shows a man’s figure walking through the room across the wall, the
man’s broad posture creates authority and power in the room. The low key lighting with the
little bit of daylight creeping through is mysterious. The camera is positioned low down
looking at the wall on a slight angle.

JAMES (V.O.)
I've had to change the way I live and adapt to this change

FADE TO BLACK:
INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

A close-up shows a pair of hands tied up against the back of a chair, we can see the hands
struggling and trying to break free out of what they're in. The low-key lighting is used to
prevent the audience from seeing much about what is happening. The camera is positioned
in a slight low angle looking up at the girl in the chair.

FADE TO BLACK:
INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

A tracking shot shows a man walking through a room. We can see a close-up of the feet
taking each step. In the background of this shot, a person can be seen tied up in the
background. The diegetic sound of footsteps can be heard helping to build tension.

TITLE SCENE - Quote

EXT. THE CAR - DAY

A long shot shows a girl walking down a street busy on the phone as a car can be seen
speeding up the road. The high-key lighting of daylight and the surrounding area of a mid-
town side street. The camera crabs along with the girl as the car comes up the road. The
diegetic sound of a car can be heard in the background.

JAMES (V.O.)
But who am I?

CUT TO:
INT. THE CAR - DAY

An over the shoulder shot shows the car heavily breaking whilst speeding up towards the
girl, see what it's like, and how suddenly the driver is having to react with what is happening.
The surroundings show a tight side street with old fashioned buildings either side. Diegetic
sound of the car engine can be heard before heavily breaking and screeching to a stop.

JAMES (V.O.)

I’m Just a guy that wants the best!

CUT TO:
EXT. THE CAR - DAY

A close-up shows the front of the car coming to a dead stop in the middle of the road. This
emphasises the speed of the car coming down the road and how its having to heavily slam on. The
still shot shows the bumper and front wheel coming into shot and coming to a stop.

CUT TO:
EXT. THE CAR - DAY

A shot reverse shot shows the couple having a conversation in front of the car which creates
understanding for the audience about the kind of people they are and their connection, the over the
shoulder shots shows each other's expression. The diegetic sound of the tires screeching can be
heard emphasising to the audience.

CUT TO:
EXT. ON THE STREET - DAY

An over the shoulder, tracking shot follows a hooded guy walking down the street following a
girl. The high angle doesn't align us with him but forces the audience to follow him
helplessly, this is filmed in a council house estate making the scene look more threatening
and intense.

JAMES (V.O.)
I set high expectations!
CUT TO:
EXT. ON THE STREET - DAY

A mid close-up shows the girl frightened and worried looking round and panicked about who
is around her. The camera pans around with her to cover the shoulder shot so up the street
can be seen to where the guy was.

MUSIC

A sudden high pitched beat can be heard as the camera cuts to the title card slowly fading
out.

TITLE CARD - Main Character James

CUT TO:
EXT. COFFEE SHOP - DAY

An over the shoulder, shot reverse shot is used to show a woman talking business with another
person outside having coffee. The mid shots create understanding for the audience. We can see a
large tabled area and the outside of a shop.

CUT TO:

EXT. IN THE PARK - DAY

A two shot shows a couple out on a date together smiling and laughing at one another, the
camera tracks backwards slowly with them, the high-key lighting creates a positive
atmosphere around the couple.

TITLE CARD - Main Character (Mia)
FADE TO:

MUSIC:

Melodic heartbeat

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

There is a close up of the girls hands tied up and she is wearing black leggings and a
jumper. She will be looking in pain and confused as she doesn’t know where she is.

MIA (V.O.)
AHHHHHHHH

FADE TO BLACK:

EXT. PARKING LOT - LATE DAY

Then there is a two shot of Mia and James arguing and Mia pushes him away. Mia will be
wearing black leggings and a jumper and James will be wearing a tracksuit. Mia will be
looking very upset and annoyed with James, she will be very red faced. James will be
looking upset but confused because he thought Mia would want to come home with him.

CUT TO:

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

There will be a sound of James typing on his keyboard. Then we get a close up of James’
phone and we see that Mia has blocked him on social media and blocked his phone number.

CUT TO:

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

There is then a high angle mid shot of him lay down looking in pain and frustration as he
cries himself to sleep. This will be in the same location as the last scene. There will be low
lighting as he is in his room and the only lighting is coming from his phone.

CUTS TO BLACK:

EXT. IN A PARK - DAY

The next shot is an over the shoulder shot of Mia walking around in a park. She will be
walking around casually as she doesnt know she is being watched. She will be wearing
black leggings and a jumper.

JAMES (V.O)
I've been told to change

CUT TO:

EXT. IN A PARK - DAY

We then get a mid shot of Mia looking behind her as she thought she heard something.
There will be a sound effect of a branch snapping, it will be loud to cause more tension. She
will be wearing the same clothes as the last shot.

CUT TO:

EXT. IN A PARK - DAY

Then there will be a close up of Mia’s reaction. She will be looking confused and she will
look scared because she doesn't know who is looking at her.

CUT TO BLACK:

EXT. IN A PARK - DAY

There will be a POV shot of Mia looking in a panic as she is looking around and wondering
who is with her. She will be wearing the same clothes as the last scene.

CUT TO:

EXT. IN A PARK - DAY

Then there is a mid shot of James with a black hood on and he is walking past Mia as she is
looking the other way. James will be smiling as he walks past Mia and Mia will be looking
around wondering who is stalking her.

JAMES (V.O.)
But I don't see what's wrong with what i'm doing!
CUT TO:
“Stalk-Her”

EXT. IN A PARK - DAY

There will be a low angle medium long shot of him smiling as he walks past Mia. There will
be natural lighting as it will be outside and the pair of them will be isolated in the park. He will
give a direct address to the audience as he walks past Mia.

CUT TO BLACK:
MUSIC:

High pitch sound that is made louder than the original music in the background and it will
slowly fade out.

TITLE SCENE - Release Date

CUT TO:

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

A close up of James will be sat down and he will be looking at his old text messages with his
girlfriend and he will be upset. Non diegetic sound of the music played in the trailer.

CUT TO:

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

A close up of James lying down on the bed looking upset and annoyed with himself. There
will be low key lighting as it will be in a dark flat and it will make the shot seem more
daunting. Diegetic sound of James’ heart beat.

CUT TO BLACK:

EXT. IN A PARK - DAY

There will be a medium long shot of them two walking together this will be in black and white
to show it is a flashback. There will be natural lighting because it will be outside. Non
diegetic sound of the music.

CUT TO:

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

Then it will cut to a close up of him with his head in hands and him over exaggerated
screaming. There will be low key lighting as it will be in a dark flat and it will make the shot
seem more daunting. There will be non diegetic sound of the music and a diegetic sound of
James screaming in pain.

Now, I understand why people might be frightened

CUT TO:

EXT. IN A PARK - DAY

Then there will be a mid shot of them two walking together and this will be another
flashback. There will be natural lighting because it will be outside.

CUT TO:

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

Then it cuts to a close up of James looking directly into the camera. There will be low key
lighting and James will be looking angry and upset. We will be able to see a different side to
James from this shot as his love for Mia has just turned to anger. The low key lighting will
make the shot seem more daunting and connote the pain that James is feeling. Non diegetic
sound of the music but there will be diegetic sound of James weeping.

CUT TO BLACK:

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

We see a close up of James drinking a bottle of alcohol, his facial expressions show that he
is stressed. There is low key lighting to make the shot seem more dramatic. Non diegetic
sound of music with diegetic sound of James drinking from the bottle.

CUT TO:

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

We see a medium shot where the camera pans round James whilst he is drinking at a high
angle to make him look weak and vulnerable. Non diegetic sound of music with diegetic
sound of James drinking from the bottle.

JAMES (V.O)
But I know, I'm doing this for you!

CUT TO:

INT. IN A CAR - DAY

We see a close up of Mia crying to emphasise what she is feeling. Low key lighting. Non
diegetic sound of music with diegetic sound of Mia crying.

CUT TO:

EXT. OUTSIDE A CAR - DAY

At this point, Mia is banging on the windows crying for help as the camera is tracking away
from her. Low key lighting. We can hear Mia banging on the window crying. Non diegetic
sound of music with diegetic sound of Mia banging of the windows.

FADE TO:

INT. IN A FLAT- DAY

Fades back in from black of a close up of James at someone's ear whispering “Let me take
control of you”. Non diegetic sound of music with diegetic sound of dialogue from James.

CUT TO:

EXT. ON A PARK - DAY

An over the shoulder shot of mia looking up then smiling with high key lighting. Sound of non
diegetic music.

JAMES (V.O)
I have a quote that I always remember!

EXT .ON A PARK - DAY

An over the shoulder shot of James looking up at Mia and smiling with high key lighting.
Sound of non diegetic music.

CUT TO:

INT. IN A FLAT- DAY

A shot of Mia tied up in a room and James walking round her. The camera shot will be a long
shot at a high angle. Low key lighting. Non diegetic sound of music with diegetic sound of
footsteps.

JAMES (V.O)
It's not whether you get knocked down,
It's whether you get back up!

A long shot of James putting a duffel bag in the boot of his car. High key lighting. Non
diegetic sound of music and diegetic sound of a boot shooting.

EXT. OUTSIDE THE FLAT - NIGHT

An over the shoulder shot of Mia going into the flat whilst James is watching. Low key
lighting. Non diegetic sound of music.

EXT. ON A ROAD - DAY

Mid shot of Mia running dramatically in the day. Non diegetic sound of a heart beat.

INT. IN A FLAT - DAY

The camera is at a high angle facing Mia moving away from her. She is crying in slow motion
to create more drama. Faded diegetic sound of Mia crying.

TITLE CARD - Film name and Release date.

It fades to black and a graphic appears of the name of the film “STALK HER”
