CHAPTER 1 REVISION….

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

To develop the ordering system of Sight and Sounds

The primary objective of this study is to develop an online ordering system that

provide the ability to produce a website where customers of Sight and Sounds can

access and purchase products online. It is an advantage for the customers because it is

more convenient, no pressure in shopping, save time and 24/7 shopping.

Specific Objectives of the Systems Analysis and Design Study:

1. To develop the online inventory system for the convenience of the customers and

staff of Sight and Sounds- Online inventory system where it updates and

manages the inventory of the business and to help the customers to check if the

product is available. It is also convenient for the staff of Sight and Sounds

because you can get the product information faster and more accurate.

2. To lighten the load for the staff and likewise, improve customer service-

Nowadays, machine replaces the work intended for humans primarily to lessen

man power. It also eliminates human errors.

3. To integrate an online payment using credit card and paypal.

FUNCTIONS OF PEOPLEWARE

The term peopleware represents the personnel involved in the organizational

chart.

1. Owner

The person owning and managing the business.

2. Manager

They are person responsible of managing the operation of the business.

3. Cashier

They are the person who is responsible for accepting payments and focused on

the handling of cash money.

4. Sales Person

They are the person who is selling the product of a company. They are also the

one who is attracting the customers to buy the product in the store.
METHODOLOGY (SDLC phases - Gantt chart)

To fulfill the system design, a six steps methodology was implemented:

1. System Planning

The Group will conduct an investigation and gather information through interviewing the

representative of the company and by asking their company profile and business process

for further information regarding the existing business system.

2. System Analysis- The group will analyse the problem of the existing system of

the company. After analyzing the existing system, the group will brainstorm on

what system is suitable and compatible for the company.

3. System Design- After the brainstorming and analysing the problem of the

existing system of the company shall begin the designing processes of the

suitable and compatible system. The group will now choose what type of

software they will use to build the company in accordance with the planning and

analysis.

4. System Testing – After designing the proposed system, the group will test the

system. They will check errors and problem.
