PROPOSAL ON THE CONDUCT OF LEARNING


ACTION CELL FOR SY 2020-2021
I. RATIONALE:
Technical Assistance (TA) providers observed classes to help and guide the teachers to
effectively deliver quality education through face-to-face mode. However, this school year face
to face observation is not possible because of the pandemic. COVID-19 has brought many
changes in our educational system including the Result-Based Performance Management
System, that is why the Department of Education through the Office of the Undersecretary for
Planning, Human Resource and Organizational Development released DM-PHROD2021-0010,
Guidelines on the Implementation of the Result-Based Performance Management System for the
SY 2020-2021.
In line with the implementation of Republic Act No. 10533, or the Enhanced Basic
Education Act of 2013, the Department of Education (DepEd) issued the enclosed policy on The
Learning Action Cell (LAC) as a K to 12 Basic Education Program School-Based Continuing
Professional Development Strategy for the Improvement of Teaching and Learning. In this
policy, the DepEd institutionalizes Learning Action Cells (LACs) that aim to develop and
support successful teachers by nurturing their knowledge, attitudes, and competencies in terms of
curriculum, instruction, and assessment in their work stations.
Based on the result of conducted FGD in EsP Department, majority of teachers wanted to
have knowledge in making a self-made video lesson wherein they can share in their class
through FB group and Youtube. This will also serve as lesson-instructions to the students. Video
lesson can also be used during the classroom observation in any particular part of the lesson
which is essential in RPMS Objective no. 7.
In line with this, the Department Head of EsP shall be responsible for providing
professional and instructional advice and support to the teachers. In connection, the undersigned
will provide a Virtual Learning Action Cell (LAC) to enhance the skills of the EsP teachers on
RPMS Objective No. 7 on Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

II. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the LAC Session, participants are expected to:
a. refresh and gain in-depth knowledge on RPMS Objective No. 7 for proficient teachers
to perform their tasks; and
b. make a self-made video lesson as output in the LAC session.

III. SOURCE OF FUND


None

IV. PERSONS INVOLVED


The personnel involve in this activity are the following:
• 1 Head Teacher
• 14 Proficient Teachers

V. DATE OF IMPLEMENTATION
The LAC session will be held on April 21, 2021, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM using the virtual
platform.

VI. EXPECTED OUTCOME/OUTPUTS


a. 100% of the attendees were refreshed and gained in-depth knowledge on RPMS
Objective No. 7 for proficient teachers to perform their tasks
b. Self-made video lesson for the selected competencies in the 4th quarter.
