I. OBJECTIVES:
The 2 -hour training should enable the participants to;
1. Apply the steps of Eclectic Approach and Fuller Technique in teaching letter
sound.
2. Incorporate Fuller Technique for reading word families reinforced with
pictures.
3. Utilize appropriate sight words to help struggling readers experience success
in reading quickly.
4. Make use of teacher made short stories to develop comprehension using word
families.
Expected output:
Simulation in the application of the steps in teaching beginning reading
through Eclectic and Fuller Technique.
Individual sound production of the different letters through group drill.
