Clean and Earn Project Proposal

I. Overview

Most of the students nowadays forgot the importance of

cleanliness, proper segregation, and respect to the janitor and
janitress. Waste segregation is included in law, it is much easier
to recycle. Effective segregation of wastes means that less
waste goes to landfill which makes it cheaper and better for
people and the environment. It is also important to segregate for
public health.

Every school facilities, public restrooms,cafeteria, and field

need janitorial services. Without them, there would be a lot of
disgusting buildings and mad people around. Clean and Earn
project would be an opportunity to practice cleanliness, proper
segregation, and respect to the janitor and janitress.

Clean and Earn project will help students and the school to
maintain cleanliness. By practicing proper segregation and
keeping the facilities clean, they can earn money as a class. The
money that will earn can be used for their future school
activities as their fund for costumes, props, and other needs.

III. General Objectives

By cooperating with the project, students will learn:

1. To always maintain cleanliness of their classroom, facilities,
and fields before and after they use.
2. The importance of proper segregation and ways to do it .
3. To respect the work of janitor and janitress.
4. To earn money with their own hands.
5. To cooperate with the whole class.
IV. Details

A. Date: September 15 - May 1

B. Materials Needed:
1. Monthly record
2. Voucher holder
3. Creative segregation can
4. Portfolio/ Compilation of Pictures
C. 2 Clean and Earn representative ( per section )

V. Guidelines

A. From September 15 until May 1, the cleanest classroom will

receive a Clean voucher.
B. A Section/ Class who cleans before and after they use a
facility or field will receive a Clean voucher
C. A Section/ Class that practice proper segregation will receive
Waste voucher
D. A Section/ Class that practice proper waste disposal will
receive a Waste voucher
E. A Section/ Class that will volunteer to clean a facility, room,
field or requested places will receive Volunteer voucher
F. A class or a student/s with special mention or outstand in
maintaining cleanliness, proper segregation and disposal, and
giving respect to janitors and janitress will receive Special
Voucher
G. Clean and Earn representatives are required to track their
record of cleaning and compile pictures before and after they
clean.
H. At the end of the month Vouchers will be given to the
classes/ sections.
I. NO monthly record, NO vocher holder, NO compilation of
picture, NO voucher will be given.
J. Every voucher have different value.
a. Clean voucher = P50
b. Waste voucher = P25
c. Volunteer voucher = P100
d. Special voucher = P75
K. Clean voucher and Waste Voucher can be only twice a month
and they should have at least 85% checks in the monthly record.
L. Prize money are claimable at SSG office
