Reflection

The Social, ethical, and legal issues in the 21st century that my school district faces are in

computer ethics regarding privacy. Referring to school dilemmas that computer users face in

some situations may lead to the violation of another person's privacy through computers. As a

facilitator, I have to ensure student's privacy. I think every school district needs to implement

software where students can navigate safely thru the network to protect their privacy.

As my students' population are all bilinguals, I include culturally responsive teaching

strategies in my classroom by providing cultural context to students with different backgrounds.

Merging cultural techniques into my lesson created an opportunity for success, and it permits me

to reach out to students in an open way to connect with their thoughts and parents as well.

Adapting culturally responsive teaching has built students' strength by adapting cultural

references into all aspects of learning.

This course has helped me strengthen my students' computer skills and prepare better

adaptions in all my lessons. Every module has helped me restructure every class I have to

provide to my students. As I thought in my lesson, fair use, and copyright compliance. I notice

my students expressed in their exit ticket that it was the first time they ever heard about this

topic. As I was reading their reflection about the course, I decided to do another activity for the

next day to increase the learning in this topic. I created a true or false activity in google form in

their native language to facilitate better comprehension. I also provide additional resources

where students can utilize anywhere in their native language, and students were grateful.

Overall, my lesson was thriving. Students were engaged and motivated to learn

something they will be able to use in the future. Once you make a lesson relevant, they are an

excellent connection to make it meaningful and memorable.
