Portfolio Artifact Description: Create three spreadsheets and graphs in the appropriate
software.

What you learned/overcame: This was a fairly simple project, but I had never used the
formulas before. That was something new I learned, and I am glad to know that now.

using a variety of tools and methods to create collections of artifacts that demonstrate meaningful
connections or conclusions.

Application of Skills Learned for the Future: I think this was a good assignment because it
made sure we as teachers can understand how to use a spreadsheet program, or at least the basics
of it. It also taught me how to use the formula for sums and averages, which is really helpful. I
think spreadsheets could be good for students for both math and science projects, and it is always
important to know the programs that your students are going to use because then you can help
them and be prepared to explain the program to them. It is easy to use once you know the
program, and can make organizing information even easier than by hand, especially making
graphs to match it.
