The fact she is not looking at the camera suggests she is turning away from her “lady” like stereotype
she is not focused up on looking perfect. Because her mouth is open it gives off the impression that
she is not afraid to speak her mind. Her eyes are closed because she is concentrating on what she’s
doing.
Due to the woman being the main focus other than the text on the screen she would be considered
a hero for all the things she’s achieving for woman showing great importance also showing she has
lots of potential breaking the stereotypes one at a time.
Society. The logos of the groups that fund the campaign are also at the top. Sport England which
creates. Awareness of other campaigns that are very alike. Such as the lottery logo funds the girl can
campaign.
The effect of the text in this advertisement is that it demonstrates that although she appears to have
an unattractive appearance, example “sweating like a pig” the fact she’s being described as a pig
gives off connotations of being unclean and uncivilised. Another point being that pigs are naturally
the weaker types of animals this would mean or give off the idea she’d be dominated by others.
However this idea is contradicted by the line “feeling like a fox” it creates the idea of misconception
that she may look small weak and feeble by the fact she feels like a fox reinforces the idea of her
being in control and not caring what other people think of her.
The persuasive techniques being used is the repetition of “-ing like A” because of this the viewers are
constantly reminded about the message of the actual campaign itself this is used as a persuasive
technique “this girl can this sating is being used for a lot of people it’s very diverse.
The target audience for this ad would probably be for woman around mid-twenties even mid-
thirties. And by the looks of things the social class of this ad would most likely appeal to be from B-D
because the woman in the advert doesn’t seem to be upper class. The advert targets these
audiences in order to encourage and. Also the advert is most likely targeting single woman because
the overall message is too let woman do the same tasks as men.
