Intern strengths observed during this session (please be specific):
Kira demonstrated the foundational counseling skills including open-ended questions, active
listening, and paraphrasing. She had a warm presence and showed good rapport with her client.
Kira was welcoming, patient, and passionate throughout the session and provided assurance when
needed. Her interaction with the student was positive and the student was attentive to the
questions provided and willing to share her experience.

Her supervisor stated that Kira showed her willingness and openness for growth and took
initiatives to get what she needed for her development as a future school counselor including
reaching out to other staff and finding more opportunities to have different experiences.

Suggestions (please be specific):

Kira would benefit from managing her anxiety when she tries a new thing. Raising awareness and
trusting herself would be helpful.
