My name is Hang. My full name is Pham Thi Hang, I’m 20 years old. I come from Ha
Nam province. Now, I am a third year student at Hanoi University and my major is BA
(Business Administration) and my phone number is 0357308721. I have three hobbies.
My first hobby is listening to music. I love all kinds of music, especially US-UK, K-POP
and my idol is Taylor Swift. When I feel sorrow, I often love the songs can share my
sadness. My second hobby is watching some Korean movies like Train to Bussan, the Flu
and so on. It is the things, I enjoy when I have more free time. The third hobby is
travelling. I extremely love exploring new places with the plentiful cuisines and nature.
Especially, I am interested in walking along the beach in the dark that make me
comfortable and peaceful. Moreover, I often have some motorbike trips with my best
friend, so that I visited somewhere like Lao Cai, Yen Bai and Ha Giang when I have
some vacations.
I love all kinds of food, especially spicy food. The hotter the better. I often eat at home
with my family. My mother cook very well, she always cooks delicious meals for her
children. I love eating chicken and fish. I don’t eat dog and cat meat. I also eat a lot of
fruits and vegetable, it is good for my health. Sometimes, I go out to eat with my friends.
My favorite restaurant is the Wang restaurant, because it is not far my house and the food
there is so delicious. Moreover, when I get some difficulties on my study, I always want
to eat sweet food like: cakes, candy or fast food like snack. It is necessary for me to
reduce stress, have more relaxation and quickly find solutions for the problems. If I have
more free time to organize a picnic, I really love smoky pork and beef.

My family is big. There are five members. They are my mother, my father, my brother,
my sister and I. My father is 45 years old, my mother is 442 years old, my brother is 10
years, my sister is 16 years old.
Topic 3: Jobs/what do you do?

hobby is listening to music, especially US-UK and K-pop and my idol is Taylor Swift.
My second hobby is watching Korean movies. And the third hobby is Travelling and
exploring new places. Now, I am a third year student at Hanoi University and my major

Today, I will say about jobs in English. I stay at my university in every day except
Saturday and Sunday. Besides, I have got a part time job. I also work as a tutor at my
student’s house from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Sometimes, when I have
more free time, I do some voluntary work, so I work for “Mua he xanh” project at my
school. Now, I am joining an English course on Monday and Wednesday from 7pm to
9pm.
My parents are farmer, they work in the field from 6am to 5 pm. Moreover, my sister is a
student at KBB high school and my brother is a student at the primary school. They are
working hard and do their job well.

every day except Sunday. She is interested in learning English, singing or dancing K-pop
music. My brother is 10 years old, he is a student at the primary school. He loves playing
online games.
We have a busy day, however, in the evening after dinner, we often sit together in the
living room, share our stories and watch funny movies.

Topic 7: Days of a week
Today, I will talk about days of a week.
There are seven days of a week. They are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
Friday, Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, I wake up at 6am every morning. Then I
brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I have breakfast with my roommate around at
6:30. In the evening, I study English at megastar English club. I have dinner at 9:30 p.m.
I go to bed at 11p.m. On Tuesday, I have some presentations at my school. Then I have
lunch at 11:30am. In the evening, I often do my homework and speak English. On
Wednesday, I go to my university at 9:10 am and have a public speaking contest in Bcom
(Business Communication) subject. On Thursday I get up at 6am and go to school at
7:10. Then I learn Đường lối Đảng Cộng Sản Việt Nam subject from 7:20 to 11:10am.
After that I come back my home and have the lunch. On Friday and Saturday I often
listen to music and I usually watch TV with my family or drink milk tea with my
friends .I sometimes have a trip with my friends. On Sunday, I often go shopping. My
mother and I will cook delicious meals for my family, in the evening we often have
dinner, watch TV and share our stories together.

Topic 8: Months of a year
Today, I am going to say about months of a year.
There are twelve months of a year. They are January, February, March, April, May, June,
July, August, September, October, November and December.
The January is the first month of a year. My study will start with new semester at my
university in this month. My parents are going to begin a new crop in the field. Moreover,
my family often visit pagoda. In February, we have some preparations for Tet holiday
together. We always sit together to share our stories happening in a year. In March and
April, I have to get some tests like midterm test and so on. My family often collect books
so that everyone can read many kinds of books such as novel, business or comic. In May,
I have to face with final exams of major subjects: IBM (International Business
Administration), CF (Corporation Finance). After finishing tests, I often have three
months off from June to August. Before beginning a new semester, we often reap the
harvest. In September, we often travel mutually and go fishing. And October, we are
interested in Halloween day. And the last two months of year, my family love climbing
the mountain and running.

teeth and washing my face. Then I have a breakfast with my roommate around 6:30am. I
go to school at 7:15 and start studying from 7:20 to 11:10 am. Normally, after having
lunch, I often take a nap about 30 minutes. In the afternoon, I begin studying at 12:20 and
finish working at 4:10pm. After that I have a shower quickly and cook dinner for my
roommate. Next, I have some preparations for English course from 7 to 9pm at Mega
start English club. Subsequently, I come back my room and have dinner lonely. The last
things, I do is to lock the door, turn off the lights and go to bed.

And in South Vietnam has two seasons: the rainy and the dry.
I like sunny days. When it is sunny, I often open all the windows in my room. I usually
have a picnic with my friends and take my motorbike out for a short ride around my
town. I also love rainy days. Because I will become lazy in a long day, so I can stay at
home, watch TV or sing a sad song. I really love windy days. Because I can find my
childhood by flying a kite with my brother and my sister. I am interested in cloudy days. I
often go fishing, running or go for a walk with the umbrella. And the weather I dislike is

fog. Because of driving the car in foggy days, I am easy to get accidents, so that I rarely

Vietnam is a tropical country. In Vietnam, anytime can be the perfect moment for the
travel. In North Vietnam, there are four seasons. They are Spring, Summer, Autumn and
Winter. Spring is short. It is often from the last days of January to March or first days of
April. The weather is very warm, drizzly and plants grow very quickly at that time. In the
summer often begins on the middle April. But it starts to get hot from May and lasts to
the ends of August. In my view, Autumn is the most beautiful season of the year. The
weather is cool and dry but still rainy. It lasts from September to November. The Winter
of Hanoi lasts from December to may last until the February. The weather is a little bit
cold and the sky is dark. However, in the South Vietnam, there are two seasons: the rainy
and the dry. The rainy season lasts from April to November. It is hot and humid. There
are many tropical fruits and the rains are heavy but so quick. The dry season starts in
December and ends in March, it has no rain but it is very hot and dry.
