AIM
The aim of this document is to define the mechanical and environmental requirements
for the above-mentioned part(s)/assemblies installed or designed by AGCO Corporation.
In the event that a conflict exists between this document and a legal or regulatory
requirement, that requirement shall take precedence and the test results shall accordingly
note that the requirement was used. The supplier is also required to inform AGCO
Corporation about this conflict.

CONTENTS
1. Introduction
1.1. Scope
This specification covers family of parts to be assembled inside cab and visible to the
customer view, mainly for trimming purposes.
SAE standard
SAE J1756 (2006): Determination of the fogging characteristics of interior automotive
materials
AFNOR standard
NFT 58000 (1987): Plastics - Tolerances for Plastic Moulded Parts (Thermosetting
and Thermoplastic)
Other standards
FMV SS 302: Flammability of interior materials
UL 94 (1996): Tests for flammability of plastic materials for parts in devices and
appliances
2. Geometry
Geometry and dimensional tolerances must be in accordance with instructions on the part
drawing and the relevant 3D CAD file.
Unless contrary indication on drawing, general tolerances comply with NFT 58000 - normal
class.
3. Material
After approval of initial samples, the supplier must give reference, composition and technical
specifications of all materials used for the considered part. No change in the composition has
to be made without AGCO Beauvais Engineering and AGCO Quality Department agreement.
4. Surface Finish
See drawing note. A reference sample must be presented to AGCO Beauvais Engineering
and AGCO Quality Department for approval.

5. Environmental Requirements
5.1. Conformity with CFSEN04018 document
Parts shall answer to all requirements described in CFSEN04018 except the following
modifications:
Temperature Resistance
Parts shall not be affected by a range of temperature between –20°C and +60°C.
Test Method:
In CFSEN04018 test procedure replace maximal temperature of +80 ±1°C by 60±1°C.
All other parameters of the test remain the same.
Chemical Resistance
Test Method:
According to CFSEN04018 document using the following products:
Flammability
As alternatives to ISO 3795 standard described in CFSEN04018, following standards can be
used:
1st alternative: UL 94 – HB test with a conformity to this standard required;
2nd alternative: FMV SS 302 with a burning rate inferior to 100 mm/min.
5.2. Cleaning
Parts should not soil easily. It means that in case of mud, dust or grease stain, it should
be easily washable with common detergent solutions.

5.3. Fogging
The aim of this test is to evaluate the likelihood of volatile substances of interior
materials to condense on other surfaces (particularly for the windshield).
Test Method:
• According to SAE J1756
• Photometric procedure
• Bath Temperature: (90 ± 1)°C
• Cooling Temperature: (21 ± 1)°C
• Testing period: 3 hours
• Post-test conditioning period: 24 hours in a controlled atmosphere (21 ± 2)°C, (50
± 5)% humidity
Result:
Solid deposits or persistent drops are not accepted.
R/R0 > 80%.
6. Odour
When parts are fitted in the cab, it must not have an unpleasant or persistent odour.
7. Validation
7.1. P.I.O.D.
First parts produced from serial tooling without its surface finish (i.e. graining), called
P.I.O.D., have to be approved:
- by AGCO Beauvais Engineering
- by AGCO Production Quality (dimensional validation)
- by AGCO Production Engineering (assembly validation)
9. Mould Maintenance
The supplier has to give the periodicity of the mould maintenance.
