(1) Supports of serie all types.
(3) Self-adhesive cellular materials with protective film which at least one face is anti-adherent.
(4) Case of bond parts in UP: the transportation and storage of parts are sheltered from humidity and from every kind
of exterior contamination. No separation of the protective film or damage of parts is tolerated during the
transportation and the storage.
The temperature of storage is between -10°C and 50°C; avoid the exposure of the parts near important heat source.
The part must be separated from its protective film without degradation or tear or loss of adherent power and even
after storing up to 12 months in the conditions indicated above.
Case of delivered parts in UP, already fitted or bounded: No degradation, no tear, no separation are tolerated
during the transportation and the storage in the temperature range of -20°C and 50°C before fitting on body.
(5) The implementation of these parts is realized manually. The temperature of the receiver support, when bonding, is
between 15°C and 40°C. A light reheat at 35°C or 40°C reactivates the glue and improves the immediate adhesive
strength (specifically for the parts which are not bounded to the plan supports).
Do not withdraw the protective film beforehand. Every part coming from the storage with a piece of protective film
removed is put aside.
Avoid every contact of the adhesive with a contaminated surface, in particular with hands or any other support.
The pressurization of each part is mandatory to guarantee a good adhesive bonding.
The pressurization can be done :
with a rubber roll,
by hand smoothing,
by inflatable bladder,
etc.
During the pressurization, do not deteriorate or tear the part.
Note: For parts which are glued on many plans, do not stretch the part during the application or glue under stress.
Place the part before cladding in order to avoid any separation or reattachment which damages the adhesive.
(6) To check the adhesive strength, carry out the test of peeling at right angle according to the test method D51 1485 or
the test of tensile shear strength according to the test method D41 1108 following the thickness, the density and the
hardness of the material. However, give priority to peeling at right angle.
