4.PRINCIPLE
The requirements are declined according to the services ensured by material in term of:
• Regulation and Consumérisme,
• Aspect with nine,
• Conservation of the characteristics after ageing without use,
• Conservation of the characteristics after ageing with use,
• Compliance with the straight edges trade PSA,
• Technical characteristics (mechanical, thermal, etc)..
Particular and complementary criteria from which certain specific to thermoplastic elastomers or rubbers then come
to supplement this coding.
In addition, the principal requirements are the subject of a classification allowing their traceability according to the
system of Automobile Engineering System. Example: MAT_EXT_VIS_324 for staining by the automobile fluids.
Those are identified by a code of the type MAT_XXX_YYY_ZZZ, with:
• DULL COLOUR for material
• XXX which makes it possible to locate the application (perimeter)
VEH for all the vehicle
INT for the interior applications
EXT. for the external applications
SCM for the applications under bonnet engines
• YYY which specifies the localisation
TMA for all the applications of the perimeter
SCREW for the visible applications of the perimeter
NVI for the nonvisible applications of the perimeter
• ZZZ which indicates a serial number
The level of respect of the requirement is then specified by an alphanumeric code.
