A.

1. Integrative Art is the art used for educational purposes to develop one's understanding
of arts through different art forms.

2. Integrative art aims to educate everyone by the means of art. It can be use in
Contemporary art, so the outcome will be more precise and perfect.

3. By the use of New Media technologies such as Digital art, video games, robotics and
virtual arts.

B.

1. It is all about an individual's self.

2. Self.

3. One's battle against their own self.

WHAT HAVE I LEARNED SO FAR?

1. The characteristics of contemporary art practices shows how wide the scope can be
engaging with contemporary art. Unlike traditional practices that is used during the old
days, contemporary practices offers a variety of technologies and innovations in
performing different art forms.

REFLECT UPON

1. Understanding of a Multiplicity of Viewpoints. Art is not all about the materials used,
but also the meaning and purpose of it. It is important to think of how the art can relate
and help to the society. Plus, it is also good to connect with people through the art.
2. Different type of technologies and whatever material the artist have thought because
they can make it work regardless of the materials.

3. With the use of technology, it makes their work more convenient. Like the one
mentioned a while ago, musicians can now compose music using tablet computers. They
can now compile their works in a more convenient and secured way rather than type or
write it in a piece of paper that is very likely to be misplaced.

WHAT HAVE I LEARNED SO FAR?

2. It makes their works easier.

REFLECT UPON

1. For me, no. Arts having instant availability can also be a help for artists to engage with
more people and to open more opportunities to their works. The value of art will akwas
remain the same. Whether you see it in the museum or different social media platforms, the
value of the art will always be the same. It will always depend on an individual's acceptance
and understanding of arts.

BEYOND WALLS 1.1: APPLY IT IN REAL LIFE

Years ago, people and things on Earth mainly came from our nature. It is made up of
natural resources. From clothes, utensils, and even materials used for arts. For example,
many houses and infrastructures including Chuches, were built only by the help of man
power. But now that we're living in the 21st Century where everything is advance and
empowered by high technologies, everything is easier to make. Machineries took place in
building large facilities and help our people to have a easier and more convenient job.

D. ESSAY

1. Yes. As mentioned in the text, she didicated her whole life in the art of tattooing.
Moreover, she qualifies as a recipient of the National Living Treasure Award. Despite the
constant changes in the society, she stick to their traditional way of tattooing instead of
upgrading her materials to what tattoo artists uses today. Therefore, Whang Od is
deserving to be one of the recipients of the National Living Treasure Award.

2. The photo shows the traditional way of transportation. Plus it can be interpreted as how
our indigenous people works hard and stick to what they have been used to, inthe middle of
a growing society.

Us, Filipinos, are known for our hospitality. Whether it has to be for our relatives,
kababayans, or even for people who came from other parts of the world. It is a good thing
that most foreigners has bern looking up into. But people should not be the "main
attraction" for visitors from foreign countries. We're more likely to be the instrument used
to advertise the culture and beautiful places in our country. People is one of a place's
history, but our places should not be left behind.

3. I would be honored, of course. If I were really into arts and very willing to do it, then I
would openly accept their offer. Being able to continue the legacy and bring pride to one's
society is something to be proud of and grateful for.
