TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

Introduction

A teaching philosophy is defined as the description of the primary ideas for becoming an
effective teacher. Learning is a collaborative process, and therefore teachers are responsible for
making the learning effective through teaching styles. An effective teaching philosophy is
significant for providing good examples and ensuring the evidence of why a person wants to be a
teacher and what to do to become a teacher. In the following sections of the study, I am going to
describe the details of teaching philosophy beliefs that can improve the quality of education.

Teaching Philosophy Statement

I have examined that one of the core visions of the UAE is to improve the teaching system of the
nation. I have found that in the UAE, education is considered as one of the significant pathways
by which the stability of the nation's economy can be improved through enhancing higher
literacy rate. The youths of the UAE are also trying to gain knowledge which can reflect the
heritage and the culture of the country (Lowe, 2020). As a professional teacher, I realized that
the profession of teaching is significant for transforming youth into a successful person.
There are various beliefs based on the teaching philosophy. However, my own beliefs and
teaching strategies are based on motivation and professionalism, influencing the students to
improve their careers.

1. Reinforcement

I must have a passion for utilizing reinforcement for increasing the appropriate behavior and
increase the on-task behavior. My passion for reinforcement is required to be significant for
encouraging and motivating the students through providing an effective learning environment.
For example, I must provide positive reinforcement like a good job, well done that can motivate
the students.

2. Breaking down big tasks into multi-tasks

I have to maintain professionalism in the teaching profession by breaking down the big tasks into
multi-tasks. As I am responsible for preparing the future of the youths; therefore, it is my duty to

maintain time management and efficiency in the work. For example, I can break down the big
tasks into multi-tasks which can save time.

3. Use of technology

I should use advanced technology while preparing the assessment and lesson plan. It can ensure
my ability to adopting the technology in teaching aspects. For example, it is my responsibility to
improve the learning process by using the technology that can attract more students.

Beliefs about education

I have found that the modern education system of the UAE is playing a vital role in developing
the mental status and delivering the quality academic methods. The effective educational practice
is significant for improving the teaching strategies like reinforcement for improving the quality
of teaching (Merkel, 2020). I am highly delighted in the education system of the UAE because
here I am getting the opportunity to assist my students. Therefore, I have realized that my
teaching philosophy is crucial to deal with every aspect of the students that can also influence
them.

Beliefs about learners

I have examined the positive impact of the educational environment on the learners. However, it
is essential for me to focus on creating such an environment where the students can realize the
educational institution as their second home. It can be beneficial for the students and teachers to
overcome the emotional, social and academic difficulties. It is also my responsibility to provide a
safe classroom for the learners.

Beliefs about best practices

From the previous semesters, I have learned various practices which are significant as best
practices. I as a teacher prefer to provide a friendly environment through enhancing
reinforcement. I also like to break down my big tasks into multi-task, which can save my time
and improve the strategies in collaborative learning. Finally, the use of technology is significant
for developing self-motivation for students (Murati & Ceka, 2017).

Beliefs about the function of the teacher in the learning process

My beliefs in the teaching profession are based on passion, sincerity and love for students which
are directly linked with the Multiple Intelligence Theory (Beatty et al. 2020). It can help the
students to gain various skills and knowledge that are helpful for the learning process. I have
adopted the unique activities of using technology for increasing the interest of students in the
learning process.

Opinions for the future outlook

In future, it is necessary for the teachers to focus on the high-tech vision while interacting with
the students. The effective strategy of reinforcement, multitasking, and advanced technology is
crucial for developing a better character that can directly reflect an impressive personality.

Conclusion

Based on the beliefs mentioned above, I can conclude that my teaching philosophy is significant
for developing the ideas of the students to meet the educational standards of the UAE. Therefore,
the study is significant for understanding the role of a teacher in shaping the future of the
students. My teaching philosophy statement is crucial for evaluating my beliefs about learning
and teaching.
