1. SHORT CUT PASTA LINE 500 Kg/hr
Thickness: 1.1mm
Guaranteed shape:the agreed shape; it will have adequate specific weight, thickness and
length. Output 500 kg/hour. Hourly capacity can vary +/- 10% depending on type of pasta (raw
material, shape, die, etc.)
Our line can produce shapes with more than 1,1 mm wall thickness and less than 400 kg/
m3 specific weight with a consequent reduction of production capacity (the dies for these
shapes are excluded from the supply).
The final running test of the line will be performed with reference to the pasta shape agreed
between the Supplier and the Customer having the over mentioned characteristics.

The production capacity of the line is to be conventionally referred to:
• Dry product, with final humidity not superior to 12,5%.
• Continuous and uninterrupted production of the guaranteed shape for 24 hours.
• Drinkable Water for the dough, having chemical and physical characteristics conforming to the
norms of the World Health Organization, and in particular:
□ Free from suspended solid substances having dimensions bigger than 5 microns.
□ Presence of chlorides: less than 30 p.pm.
□ Potable, colourless.
□ Minimum pressure 1,5 bar, maximum 2 bar.
• Hot oil at a temperature no lower than 90°C, for feeding of all technologic heating control systems
should be ready to connect to the line.
• Chiller cold water at a temperature no higher than 18°C for feeding of all technologic heating
control systems present in the line.
Without any specific request, everything that is described in the present offer will be
builtaccording to U.E. Normative.
The environment conditions and patterns inside the pasta factory must be controlled in order
to obtain a temperature not lower than 28°C and a relative humidity between 50 and 65%.

- Supporting machine of the extruder (for safe operation) is completed with high-quality
bearings intended for heavy load.
- In the extruder the cooling jacket for the press’ body cooling is foreseen. Press is completed
with chiller for ensuring uninterrupted circulation of cold water in the press along the closed
contour;
- For extrusion die removal a hydraulic cylinder is foreseen;
- For the excellent shape and length in the pre-extrusion die zone compensating plates
(individually for each extrusion die) and net filters (for filtering and getting homogeneous
dough) are installed;
- Press is completed with vacuum pump with filter made by Italian manufacturer.

Extrusion dies
In order to get high quality of pasta with correct shape we
complete press with extrusion dies and inserts of the best
European manufacturers.
For Penne production a separate machine is foreseen.

2.7 Vibrating pre-dryer (trabatto)
After the press pasta gets to the preliminary vibration dryer (trabatto), where the
surface of pasta is dried in order to prevent sticking and retain shape, brightness and colour.
Before feeding to the main drying chamber the humidity of product is reduced in trabatto by
approximately 3%.

Drying complex
After trabatto pasta gets to the stacker of the drying chamber by the elevator.
- Conveyor drying chamber is insulated by polyurethane sandwich-panels;
- Conveyors of the dryer are equipped with plastic net with a special size of cell for better circulation
of the hot air in a chamber;
- Drying complex id divided for several drying and stabilization zones with different temperature
modes;
- To maintain proper drying conditions, steam generators are provided inside to add steam to the
dryer;
- The possibility of regulation of the product level on each conveyor of the drying chamber is
foreseen;
- Heat carrier in the dryer is a hot oil. For better quality of pasta we apply the low-temperature drying
technology;
- Air temperature and humidity in the dryer is set by operator and controlled in the automatic mode.

MAIN ELECTRIC CONTROL PANELBOARD AND SWITCHBOARD
Automation
All functions line are controlled by PLC installed inside Control panel and a PLC Program.
• Electric Control Panel board for the whole production line will be managed by a Personal Computer
with a Graphic Software (SCADA).
• Pushbutton Console installed on the Press Platform, provided with alpha numeric interface panel
for operator for the control of dosing-metering systems of raw materials and of the mixers.
• Pushbutton Console installed under the Press Platform, provided with alpha numeric interface
panel for operator for the control of product extrusion and shaping.

* Drying chamber will include all pipes for connection the boiler. We advise to purchase an boiler for thermal oil heating
in the country where the line will be installed.

installation site.
WARRANTY
In all pasta lines can be used both semolina flour from durum wheat or white flour from soft wheat.
- The guarantee of machines and equipment is 12 months from the beginning till start up of
the system.
- Customer should conform instructions and obligations to operate the line within warranty.
Seller will not be responsible for any material wear that cause defects, negligence and
professional faults within maintenance and operation in case of improper use.
- The necessary maintenance and lubrication instructions during the warranty will be given by
a chart and customer has to strictly comply this instructions.
- The warranty will be invalid in case of any modifications which might be made without
confirmation of UTF.
