Pantone Studio App

Pantone Studio, an iOS app and android app for colour inspiration and management,
created by Pantone, a provider of professional colour standards and digital solutions.
As a designer, colour is an essential part of the workflow and the easier the workflow
is, the more pleasurable and productive it will be.

Colour Palettes
You can build colour palettes of up to 6 colours by:
 Select colours directly from the colour guides found in the colour area of the
app and search the guides by colour numbers if you need to.
 Take a photo using the camera icon and use the colour picker to choose the
colours you want from the image.
 Use a photo already on your phone by going to the top menu in the images
area of the app.
 Connect the app to your Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram accounts and
extract images from those account to sample colours from them. To do this
select the top menu in the images area.

Let us get you started,

1. Once you have downloaded the app to your phone, you will want to familiarise
yourself with the app, play around with all colours.
2. Click on create a new palette
3. Click on a colour from the selection and add to palette.

4. Click on the colour and then click the Harmonies. Harmonies will tell you the
colour number and possible colours that would look good with your chosen
colour in your palette.

5. You build your palette.


6. Select Colour Shades which gives you a variety of the colour in different
shades.

7. Once you are happy with your palette, click the save icon, where you will give
it a Title, brief description and added tags, then save it.
Create as many colour palettes as you want.
