Membership Policies:
1. Consistency
Every member of worship ministry must faithfully be consistent in:
a. Attending church worship and prayer services
b. Personal and Group Bible Study
c. Personal prayer
d. Obedience to Biblical Mandate
2. Commitment
Every member of worship ministry must strive to commit to:
a. Attend and participate every training and rehearsal
b. Support by all means the ministry such as every week set ups and
pack ups, clean ups, fund raising, projects etc.
3. Character
Every member of worship ministry must prayerfully live an:
a. Uncompromised Christian life
b. Obedient and teachable personality
4. Capacity
Every member of worship ministry must diligently keep on:
a. Learning and enhancing their respective roles
b. Practicing the assigned tasks
c. Teaching others
Job Descriptions:
Worship Leader
1. The worship leader directs the whole operation of the worship ministry.
2. The worship leader directs every week’s rehearsal.
3. The worship leader ensures the spiritual growth condition and healthy
camaraderie of the group.
4. The worship leader implements appropriate disciplinary actions.
5. The worship leader proactively plans for the team’s training, project
and procurements.
Song Leader
1. The song leader is responsible for choosing the songs of the
week(Sunday and Midweek).
2. The song leader is the lead vocal of the team.
3. The song leader gives the list of songs to the team to practice at least a
week before the rehearsal.
Back ups
1. The back ups are the second vocals and assist the lead vocal.
2. The back ups are primarily responsible for the proper care of all
microphones used during rehearsals.
Guitarist
1. The guitarist provides the necessary harmony for the band.
2. The guitarist accompanies the vocalists in the absence of the
keyboardist.
Keyboardist
1. The keyboardist provides the necessary harmony for the band.
2. The keyboardist primarily accompanies the vocalists.
Bassist
1. The bassist gives the necessary bass harmony support.
2. The bassist provides additional rhythm together with the drummer.
Drummer
1. The drummer primarily acts as the rhythm of the band.
Sound Technician
1. The sound technician is responsible for the proper mixing and adjusting
of audios.
2. The sound technician is responsible for playing all music for prelude,
special numbers, dead airs, and postlude.
3. The sound technician is responsible for securing all the music from
people who are assigned for special numbers.
4. The sound technician is responsible for the proper care and
maintenance of audio mixers.
IT/Media Tech
1. The IT is responsible for typing and presenting all songs, sermons,
announcements and other related stuffs.
2. The IT is responsible for downloading, editing and printing the songs
needed for the particular rehearsal.
3. The IT is responsible for securing and proper care of all the devices
used such as phones and laptops.
4. The IT coordinates properly with the band and sound team.
Disciplinary Actions:
All disciplinary actions stipulated in our TMI Church Handbook also apply
and will be implemented.
Membership,, Leave and
Resignation
1. All interested and qualified individuals who would like to join the
worship ministry must fill up the volunteer’s form.
2. Any member with reasonable purpose to apply for leave will fill up a
leave form and submit it to the worship leader for review and approval.
3. Accomplished Leave form should be filed at least a week before the
indicated first day of leave.
4. Any member with reasonable purpose to tender resignation will write a
formal resignation letter and personally submit to the worship leader
for review and approval.
5. All resignations should be filed at least a month before the indicated
date of resignation.
