crime, but some people believe that these measures restrict our individual freedom. Do the
benefits of increased security outweigh the drawbacks?

Regarding the drawbacks of using security cameras to deter crimes, some people believe that their
individual freedom is somehow violated due to the fact that their activities are constantly observed
by those devices. Whether they are out on the street, in shopping centres or at underground stations,
images of their faces and their movements will be recorded and sent to security organisations, ready
to be analysed if necessary. Many people consider this a violation of privacy and think that privacy is
a right that should be respected in this modern world.

In spite of the above arguments, I personally believe that the benefits that surveillance cameras bring
to our society are far more significant than the drawbacks. Widespread surveillance in public areas
would greatly contribute to crime reduction by deterring potential criminals from engaging in
unlawful activities, when they know that security cameras are recording their every move. The
installation of more video cameras in public areas also helps reduce terrorist attacks thanks to the
data and images from these cameras, which are used to detect unusual activities of any individual in
public places. This helps protect society from any threat and provides people with a sense of safety
and security.

rằng các camera an ninh đang ghi lại mọi hành
động của họ. Việc lắp đặt thêm máy quay video ở
các khu vực công cộng cũng giúp giảm các cuộc
tấn công khủng bố nhờ dữ liệu và hình ảnh từ các
camera này, được sử dụng để phát hiện các hoạt
động bất thường của bất kỳ cá nhân nào ở những
nơi công cộng. Điều này giúp bảo vệ xã hội khỏi
mọi mối đe dọa và cung cấp cho mọi người cảm
giác an toàn và an ninh.
Tóm lại, mặc dù ý tưởng rằng việc tăng cường sử
do cá nhân, tôi sẽ cho rằng điều này mang lại
nhiều lợi ích hơn những hạn chế.
