1 How many languages do you speak? Why and how did you learn them?
I speak two languages: Spanish and English. I learned the Spanish language
because it is my mother tongue and I learned the English language through
both school and university studies.
2 Why might the people in the photos need to know different languages?
What jobs require several languages?
Because of their place of origin or because they travel from one place to
another. Jobs that require the use of several languages are: translator, teacher,
tour guide, journalism, import / export, financial agent, lawyer, flight attendant,
editor.
3 Do you think it is easier to learn a new language when you already know
other languages? Why/ Why not?
Yes, because you already know your own objectives and goals to set.
4 Do you know any polyglots (people who speak many languages)?
