5.0 Innovative and future sustainability

Business model innovation has seen a recent flow in hypothetical research and business
practice. Variations to business models are recognized as an essential approach to realize
innovations for sustainability (Evans & Vladimirona, 2017).

Nevertheless, little is known about the successful adoption of sustainable business models
(SBMs). A unified theoretical perspective for understanding business model innovations that
lead to better organizational economic, environmental and social performance. Five propositions
that support the creation of SBMs in a unified perspective, which lays a foundation to support
organizations in investigating and experimenting with alternative new business models. The
emerging field of SBMs, which embed economic, environmental and social flows of value that
are created, delivered and captured in a value network. It highlights gaps for addressing the
challenges of business model innovation for sustainability and suggests avenues for future
research (Evans & Vladimirona, 2017).

Commonly accepted explanations consider that business models refer to the logic of how
a firm does business, and explain how the firm creates, delivers and captures value. However,
there is no general agreement on the concept of business models. Even highlight differences
between American and European scholars’ approaches to business model research: the former
focusing on classifications and the relation with open innovation, while the latter concentrates on
causal modelling and design approaches. Lambert reveals that empirically grounded
classifications of business models are still scarce and adopt two perspectives: classification
schemes with no explicit criteria, and theoretical typologies including ad hoc criteria based on
prior theories in economics, strategy and entrepreneurship (Evans & Vladimirona, 2017).

6.0 Methods used in financing Wall Street English

The business world orbits around capital. Financial activity stimulates economic growth
and keeps companies prosperous. However, not all businesses start out with an adequate amount
of funding, so business owners need to explore financing options.
6.1 Wall Street English financing

Wall Street English financing are following two methods.

 Financial institutions – Wall Street owners have the option of taking out a
loan at a financial institution. Financial institutions, such as banks or credit
unions, offer lines of credit to businesses that are just starting out or
require financial assistance for improvements or new developments. To
qualify for a loan, business owners must go through an application
process. Most financial institutions require businesses to provide
proposals for how the money will be used and why the funding is
necessary. Interest on the loan will be charged at either a fixed or variable
rate (Sheahan, 2017).
 Venture capitalists – Another Wall Street English financing method is to
find a venture capitalist to fund the business endeavor. Venture capitalists
usually want to invest in high-growth companies and seek out companies
that show promising signs of a high return on the investment. One of the
benefits of this financing method is that venture capitalists are not afraid
to take risks, whereas financial institutions like to lend money to safer
enterprises (Sheahan, 2017).

6.2 Why use these two methods instead of other

 Financial institutions – Borrowing money from financial institutions has the

benefit of obtaining necessary cash quickly (immediate infusion of cash). The
main benefit of borrowing money from a financial institution is the ability to
obtain a large amount of money quickly. This money can be used for necessary
purchases and investments. Financial institutions can lend more money than most
friends and family members can (Montoya, 2019).
 Venture capitalists – This provides the company with an opportunity to expand. In
venture capital, the investors themselves are ready to take the risk as they believe
in the company’s long-term success. Therefore, venture capital financing is
beneficial for start-ups with high initial cost and limited operating history.
Venture
capitalists have a huge network of connections in the business community. These
connections could be advantageous for the start-ups to grow and become
successful. They can help the start-up to enter into alliances with potential
customers or business houses (Borad, 2019).

7.0 For the organization to take actions for its future growth

There are some recommendations to improve Wall Street English, in many situations, the
best place to start is from within. When executed properly, improvements within their
organization can be beneficial for driving performance and encouraging employee progress. Be
engaging, learn the metrics, utilize training methods and place a focus on the business; all of
these are simple ways to improve Wall Street English (Nadeau, 2019).

Organizational improvements are an ongoing process, and each organization has its own
specific needs; however, there are common improvements that are necessary for many
organizations on an ongoing basis (Nadeau, 2019), including:

 Strategy and mission: Changes in strategy and mission are often difficult to map out,
but Wall Street English’s CEO need to continually monitor how well – or if – his
organization is meeting their mission, and he need to be prepared to change strategies if
needed (Nadeau, 2019).
 Organizational structure: This concerns the roles, objectives, and responsibilities of
individuals, departments, and teams. Structures change, some are relatively minor, while
some such as mergers are considered extreme and intense (Nadeau, 2019).
 People: Organizational improvements in regards to personnel consist of turnover, hiring,
training and other changes that will be beneficial for the organization (Nadeau, 2019).
 Knowledge: Changes/improvements to the knowledge of an organization is critical for
process, progress and initiative (Nadeau, 2019).

It’s a fact that the pace of change is so fast that mergers and acquisitions are on the rise as
one of the best ways of achieving strategic growth. In sluggish economy, a multitude of mergers
and acquisitions notwithstanding, the capacity for a business to grow rests in the hands of its
people (Nadeau, 2019).
