through one or more strings vibration, included in a resonance box, which when
pressed, rubbed or percussed produce sounds.

OF MUSICAL
Strumming
String instruments are also known as chordophone instruments and are
those that have a series of strings capable of producing sounds through vibration,

and that have a resonance box to amplify the sound that is produced when playing
them. String instruments have an enormous repertoire of tones and sounds and
can be applied to any type of music, from classical music to jazz, pop and rock
music.

WOODWIND INSTRUMENT
Cello
Woodwind instruments made of wood or metal that have the capacity to make different types
of sounds thanks to the effect that produces the air when it passes through the interior of the same ones.
Wind-metal instruments: They are built of metal and their sound is produced by the air that vibrates
in a column. The air inlet orifice is called mouthpiece. Among them, we have the trumpet, tuba and
trombone. Woodwind Instruments: They are made of wood, have a mouthpiece and this is what determines
the timbre. Among them we can mention the clarinet, bassoon, flute, oboe and saxophone. Wind-keyboard
instruments: There are two types of instruments in this group, the organ that
has pipes and mouths through which the air passes which is activated by a motor and is controlled by
means of keyboards and pedals. The second type is called accordion and is a popular instrument in some
parts of the world, its sound is achieved by blowing the air through free reeds.
MANNER OF PLAYING
They are played by being struck though a variety of means. The most common types of percussion
instruments are drums, maracas, xylophones, bells, musical triangles, and cymbals.Percussion
instruments make sound from being struck. Often the instruments will have a hollow body, which will
amplify the sound

BRASS INSTRUMENT
Bass instrument accommodates all instruments which sound is generated by the
player applying their lips to the instruments and blowing in such a way that the lips
vibrate and admit an intermittment or fluctuating stream of air into the instruments.
The brass instruments use a funnel-shaped mouthpiece, and the instrument's pitch
can be changed by adjusting lip tension and the horn's three valves.
MANNER OF PLAYING
Brass instruments get their sound from the vibrations of the musician’s lips. This
works by the player putting their lips tightly into the mouthpiece and blowing. The
vibration between the lips and mouthpiece causes the air to vibrate down the long

PERC
USSIOThey are the instruments that produce a sound when they are hit with the hand, rapper or
N
some instrument made for this purpose, such as drum sticks, and they are responsible for
maintaining music' rhythm. Percussion instruments can be seen from two points of view, the
musical and structural.
INSTR
From the musical point of view we can classify them in:
UMEN Defined intonation or height instruments, which are those that can produce a tone, such as
timpani and bells. Indefinite intonation or indeterminate height instruments are those that cannot
T
produce a specific tone sensation and their notes cannot be identified, but on the contrary produce
noises, like drums.
MANNER OF PLAYING
Percussion instruments make sound from being struck. Often the instruments will have a
hollow body, which will amplify the sound. However, some percussion instruments make sounds in
other ways. For instance, maracas make sound when shaken, while bells and triangles resonate at
a specific frequency when hit. Most percussion instruments can only play at one frequency,
however some can play at more than one (3). In order to change the amplitude of the sound waves
produced in these instruments can be changed based on the force with which they are struck.
