Lesson Title: ZINES

Period: Intermediate Art


Day: Finals
Lesson Objective: Students will creatively make an informational or informative miniature
magazine that successfully uses both text and imagery to create an interesting composition on
each page.

Students will use text and written language to communicate their ideas.
Learning Tasks:
Student will come up with a topic to research
Students will research their selected topic with a minimum of 3 facts or 3 instructional steps
Students will create a zine out of one single piece of printer paper
Students will make each page of their zine, filling the whole space and including facts from their
research.
