    Process : Disposal of Cooling tower Blow down water
    Scope :Includes disposal of cooling water blow down water
    related to environmental aspects and occupational health and safety
    risks.

    Description of activities Responsibility


    1. Check COC of Cooling water if exceeds more than 8 give Chemist
    blow down
    2. Check the following water parameters in blow down and
    keep the records
    3. PH, PHOSPHATE, ZINC MOLYBDATE, TSS, OIL AND GREESE
    4. Ensure pH valve at guard pond water is with limits before
    pumping out

    Environmental Controls: Ensure that all the values are within limits to avoid water
    pollution
    Health & Safety Controls:
    1. Ensure the use of PPEs like Helmet, Gloves, Safety shoes, masks etc.
    2. Ensure skilled manpower.
