Grant Access For Page Integration Wizard to Application Administration Role

Overview
This document guides Rel9 to Rel10 upgrade customers on how to grant access to Page Integration Wizard.
Access can be granted in two ways, 1) Using Security Console 2) Using Authorization Policy Manager. You can
choose to follow any one of them to grant the access.

Using Security Console


1. Login to the Application as admin user
2. Navigate to "Security Console" from Navigator.

3. Search "Application Administration" and select Application Administration in Roles.

4. Click Actions button and select "Edit Role"


5. Click "Next" in "Basic Information" Step
6. In "Functional Security Policies" Step, Click "Add Function Security Policy" button.

7. In Add Function Security Policy popup, search "Manage Horizontal Extensions" and select the same
under "Privileges", and Click "Add Privilege to Role" button.
8. A confirmation will be shown that the privilege is added, Click "OK" and Click cancel in Add Function
Security Policy popup.
9. Goto "Summary and Impact Report" Step and make sure "Added (1)" is shown in Functional Security
Policies.

10. Click "Save and Close".


11. To grant access to "Developer Connect", In Step 7 search for "Manage Web Service Information" and add
it to role the same role.
Using Authorization Policy Manager
1. Login to the Application as admin user
2. Click username link at the top right corner and then click "Setup and Maintenance…" in Settings and
Actions menu.

3. Search for the Task "Manage Duties" and click Go to Task icon.

4. In Authorization Management, Search for "FND_APPLICATION_ADMINISTRATION" application role in


"fscm" and open the role.
5. Click "Find Policies" button at the top right corner and select "Default Policy Domain"

6. Click "Open" icon in "Functional Policies" table.


7. Click "Add" icon in the "Targets" section.

8. Search for the Entitlement "Manage Horizontal Extensions" and select "Manage Horizontal Extensions"
row in the result and click "Add Selected" and then click "Add Targets"
9. Verify "Manage Horizontal Extensions" row is added to Targets table and then Click Apply.
10. Logout and Login and submit the ESS job "Retrieve Latest LDAP Changes" to sync the changes with FA
tables. It usually takes about 5 to 10 minutes for the policy changes made in Authorization Policy
Manager to take effect in the application.
11. To grant access to "Developer Connect", In Step 8 search for "Manage Web Service Information" and
add it to "Targets" list.
