Parent teacher conferences

are being held this week!
This is an important time to connect with
your student’s teachers. Research shows us
that strong home/school relationships help Chris Aguinaga, Principal

to improve student success. Teachers have

e-mailed out appointment links, so please schedule your timeslot
to meet with them. Scheduling of conferences is new for the
high school but needed in our virtual environment.
The time slots are quick, only five minutes, so please make sure
you are on time to your appointments. I have asked teachers to
adhere to that time limit so please do not be offended if your
time comes up. If you need more time to talk with your
student’s teachers, feel free to e-mail them to set up a separate
appointment or phone call. During conference time, feel free to
stop in and meet with the school’s administrative team for
schoolwide questions or comments. This link here will take you

oriented (taller than they are long) in the yearbook so close-ups/

If you have a game system at home and a
reliable internet connection then you can be a part
of Loy Norrix Esports. We are the defending state
champions in Overwatch (top 8 in the country!) and
are a top 3 team in the state in Super Smash Brothers
Ultimate -- and we're recruiting for this upcoming school
year! We're looking for players of the following titles:
Overwatch (PC only) Valorant Rocket League
If you are interested in representing Norrix, or you just love to
play games, please email Mr. Greeley. We're always recruiting
and are happy to take any and all comers. Even if you're not a
serious competitive gamer, you can still join and have
fun with other students. We'll be offering a few
events throughout the year that will hopefully give
you a chance to meet new people and have some
fun with some of your favorite games.
