Printing
A Printing macro is provided with this spreadsheet. Press Ctrl+p to print the calculations.
The macro checks for a dangerous condition where Excel allows input values
to be changed but does not recalculate the outputs. If this occurs, an error
message will pop up. Your computer has run out of resources and must be restarted.
This protection is only available if you use the macro.

Constants:
Beta = 0.875(Ro/Rm) = 0.408
Gamma = Rm/T = 12
Alpha (Interpolated) = 58
Sigma (Interpolated) = 95
Delta (Interpolated) = 43
Calculated stress = (2P/t)*(Rm-T/2) = 3,550 = 3,550
Max stress = Sa = 16,600

Maximum Allowed Loads (uncombined):

end load Fmax = (Rm^2/alpha)*(Sy-Stress)
= (9.25^2/58)*(36000-3550)
= 47,555 lbs (Allowed at Mc and Ml = 0)

Moment c Mrcm = (Rm^2*Ro*Sy)/(Sigma)

= (9.25^2*4.3125*36000)/(95)
= 140,302 in.lbs (Allowed at Fmax and Ml = 0)

Moment l Mrlm = (Rm^2*Ro/Delta)*(Sy-Stress)

= (9.25^2*4.3125/43)*(36000-3550)
= 279,698 in.lbs (Allowed at Fmax and Mc = 0)

Combined Loads:

F/Fmax = 40000 / 47555 F/Fmax = 0.841

Mc/Mrcm = 662 / 140302 Mc/Mrcm = 0.005
Ml/Mrlm = 662 / 279698 Mc/Mrcm = 0.002

Total Load = 0.848

= 84.8%
