 CONDITIONAL SENTENCES
We use conditional sentences to express the result of a condition.
IF + CONDITION , RESULT or RESULT IF CONDITION

For example:
I PLAY IF HAVE VIDEO GAMES TIME, SON WITH I’LL MY

If I have time, I’ll play videogames with my son. FIRST CONDITION

MONTH I IN DISNEY WORLD WOULD I USA, IF VISIT LIVED EVERY

If I lived in USA, I would visit Disney World every month. SECOND CONDITION

 FIRST CONDITIONAL
It’s also called “Future Factual Conditional”. We use it to express what you believe will happen in
the future under certain conditions. We consider the following structure:

If + present , future. Future if present .

(CONDITION ) (RESULT) or RESULT) (CONDITION )

Examples:
If I travel to Cuzco, I will visit Machu Picchu.
I will visit Machu Picchu if I travel to Cuzco .

If Sofia doesn’t have money , she won´t go to the party.

Sofia won´t go to the party if she doesn’t have money ,
If it´s sunny tomorrow, we’re going to go to the beach .
We’re going to go to the beach if it´s sunny tomorrow.
 SECOND CONDITIONAL
It’s also called “Present Unreal Conditional”. We use it to express what happens if a
condition that doesn’t exist actually does occurs:

IF + PAST , WOULD+VERB. WOULD+VERB IF PAST .

(CONDITION ) (RESULT) or (RESULT) (CONDITION )

Examples:

SIMPLE PAST WOULD+ VERB

Note: WERE is used for all the subject with BE. For example:
