These are photos from your photo album. Choose one photo to describe to your friend. You will
have to start speaking in 1.5 minutes and will speak for not more than 2 minutes (12–15
sentences). In your talk remember to speak about:
• where and when the photo was taken
• what/who is in the photo
• what is happening
• why you keep the photo in your album
• why you decided to show the picture to your friend
You have to talk continuously, starting with: “I’ve chosen photo number …”

I’ve chosen photo number 1. 

I took it in England last summer while visiting my friend whose name is Nick. He works as a bus driver, so I took this picture the moment he was
just doing his job.

As I have just mentioned, you can see my friend Nick sitting at the wheel of his bus. Nick is a nice guy. He has short brown hair, fine figure, and he
is a strong man. He is dressed in his favourite white T-shirt and blue jeans. His driver’s cabin is full of various indicators, buttons and levers.  \

Actually, not much is happening in the photo. Nick has just taken his place in the driver’s cabin. He is getting ready to start the engine. Nick is
holding the wheel of his bus, looking and smiling at me. Honestly, that was me who asked him to turn around and look at me, because at that time
I was on the point of taking the picture. 

I have many photos demonstrating Nick in everyday situations but this is the only picture showing Nick doing his job. So, from this perspective,
this is a unique photo. That’s why I keep it in my album. 

I decided to show this picture to you because you have always wanted to know what Nick looks like. And this picture is the best one. 

Actually, if you want to see some more pictures, I will show them to you next time. Now we have to leave for school. Let’s go! 

I’ve chosen photo number 2.

I would like to show you this photo with my aunt Julia. Five years ago she married an English businessman and moved to England. We haven’t
lost our contacts, and sometimes I come to see her there. 

I took this photo last summer in Julia’s work-room. As you can see, my aunt is a pretty young woman, very slim, and kind. You know, she has
always wanted to be a doctor, so you can see her in a doctor’s smock. 

Actually, not much is happening in the photo. Julia is looking and smiling at me. She is holding a pen and some papers. She is writing something,
maybe her patent’s anamnesis. Julia is a good doctor, she cares for her patients very much. 

Why do I keep this photo in my album? Actually, I have a lot of photos of my aunt but, frankly speaking, this is the only one where Julia is wearing
a special medical uniform. This unufirm makes her look different. That’s why I keep this photo in my album. 

I decided to show this picture to you because you have always wanted to know what Julia looks like. And what’s more, I hope you will help me to
edit some details of this photo using a special graphic programme. I know that you are an expert in computer design. 

Anyway, I hope you like my aunt very much. If you’d like to see some more pictures, I will show them to you next time. Now, it’s time to go to
school. 

I’ve chosen photo number 3.

Look at this picture. It shows my aunt Victoria who married an English businessman and moved to England five years ago. We haven’t lost our
contacts, and sometimes I come to see her there.
I took this picture last summer in Victoria’s study. You know, she is a pretty woman, very clever, and kind. Her hair is red and curly. Victoria is
short-sighted and has to wear glasses. Besides, in this picture you can see a table with so many dictionaries on it. Victoria has always wanted to
be a teacher of foreign languages, so she can’t do without dictionaries and other books.

Actually, not much is happening in the photo. Victoria is looking and smiling at me. She is having a pen, and a sheet of paper. I guess, my aunt is
preparing for a lesson. Maybe she is writing some vocabulary out of the dictionaries or making some tests for her students. Victoria is a very
inventive teacher, and she cares for her students very much.

Why do I keep this photo in my album? Well, I have a lot of ordinary photos of my aunt. But this one is out of the ordinary. Victoria is really
distinguished-looking here. That’s why I decided to keep this photo.

I decided to show this picture to you because you have always wanted to know what Victoria looks like. And what’s more, I hope you will help me
to edit some details of this photo using a special graphic programme. I know that you are an expert in computer design.
