MULTIBAGGER

The Stock Pick Challenge

Objective:
To identify one stock* (company listed on BSE/NSE) that you believe will provide a 15-20%
return CAGR over the next 10 years.

*Note: Choose any stock with less than INR 12000 Cr market cap (small / mid-cap) in any sector
other than BFSI (Banks and NBFCs)

Case Rules:
• Team: Study Group
• Start Date: Day 2 of the O-Week (7th June, Monday)
• Submission Deadline: 8:59 am on 9th June, Wednesday
• Results: 17th June, Thursday
• Submission guidelines: Investment Thesis of up to 3 pages (word doc) {11 font, 1.5 spacing}.
This can include but is not limited to (basis the company you choose, some of the pointers
may be irrelevant):
• Industry Overview
• Competitive Landscape
• Customer Landscape
• Business Strategy
• Management Team
• Industry / Competitor Benchmarking
• Potential Value Capture Opportunities
• Key risks and mitigants

Note: Please carefully annotate all references and sources in the presentation. Plagiarism will
invite heavy penalty.

The above thesis will be judged on – (i) quality of the content, (ii) structure of thesis, (iii) coverage
of relevant content and (iv) overall readability of the thesis. The final decision will be at the
discretion of the judges (Finance Club, Class of 2021)

Points Kicker – The performance of the chosen stock will be monitored over the week
immediately following your submission. 20% of the overall score will be based on the relative
performance of the participating teams’ stocks.
