Question#01

Question 1: Is reading only related to long texts? If not, Give example?

Reading is not only related to long texts, reading  is the process of looking at a series of
written symbols and getting meaning from them. Reading can be of small words or
phrases also which are not included in the long texts or paragraphs. When we read, we
use our eyes to receive written symbols such as symbols, words and punctuation and we
use our brain to convert them into words, sentences and paragraphs that communicate
something to us. So reading is not only related to long texts.

No, reading is not related for a long texts only some people read books, texts novels,
because of there hobbies. Some people wants to get information. Reading long texts is
also important because it has a lot of information, lessons connected to our life and our
surroundings. Reading is the complex cognitive process of decoding symbols to derive
meaning. It is a form of language processing.Proofreading is a kind of reading for the
purpose of detecting typographical errors. One can learn to do it rapidly, and
professional proofreaders typically acquire the ability to do so at high rates, faster for
some kinds of material than for others, while they may largely suspend comprehension
while doing so, except when needed to select among several possible words that a
suspected typographic error allows. A good proofreader needs to have a strong
vocabulary and should be meticulous in their approach. Rereading is reading a book
more than once. "One cannot read a book: one can only reread it," A text is anything
that conveys a set of meanings to the person who examines it. You might have thought
that texts were limited to written materials, such as books, magazines, newspapers, and
'zines. The purpose of reading is to connect the ideas on the page to what you already
know. If you don't know anything about a subject, then pouring words of text into your
mind is like pouring water into your hand.To understand long sentences in IELTS
reading, you have to know different types of English sentence structures.

Example: When a person is reading a novel, he not only reads the sentences he also
reads the vocabulary and punctuation marks to understand the written text that which
line is ending and which is starting, so this way he understands the novel.

Question 2:
Reading skills are the skills acquired through reading, such as comprehension, fluency,
and independence. These skills give people the ability to give clear meaning to the turn
words on a page. These skills are important because we read something in some form
every day. It is an integral part of modern life
Reading is not my skill if I only understand the topics of my interests because the skill
of reading includes many things, if reading is the skill then I should be able to read
every single line and word even if it is out of my domain or context. Understanding and
reading is an art which not every person has. So if I’m understanding the things of my
interest only then this cannot be my skill.
