ABOUT US

Fantastique Catering and Events is a multi-cuisine catering company that serves the

Laguna market. Fantastique offers event services such as hosting, cake making, event

arrangements and foods that vary in taste, color, look, and cuisine that can be served

personalized or traditional. The service offerings are quite unique to the catering market from its

variety of services, versatility and ability to serve foods that vary in cuisine like American,

Chinese and Filipino to such events like corporate, social, wedding and lunches.

The company derived the business name from two powerful terms, Fantastic and Unique.

The word “Unique” pertains to the customer’s/s’ special event or day, because we all perceive

our special day as unique. While the word “Fantastic” pertains to the kind of service the business

gives to the customer’s/s’ unique day. Results to a name “Fantastique” and a tag line “Serving
your unique day deliciously fantastic since 2020.” The company is driven to make a

customer’s/s’ unique day fantastic with their service.

They are also known as “FCES2020”, the business acronym. F pertains to Fantastique, C

pertains to Catering, E pertains to Event and S pertains to Services with the company’s birthyear,

2020.

#1 OVERLAPPING CIRCLES, THREE COLORED GRADIENTS: Two circles are a

symbolization of plates, coated with three colored gradient that pertains to their three cuisines

(American, Chinese and Filipino). The overlapped circles symbolize the three other services of

FCES2020 (cake making, event arrangement and hosting).

#2 SPOON AND FORK: This symbolizes the company’s main service, their catering service.
The company picked the colors that reflect their own image in a highly manner.

WHITE – Indicates cleanliness, hygiene, calm, simplicity and organization.

PEACH – Indicates communication, good manners, rejuvenation and positivism.

ORANGE – Color of Hospitality Management Industry, indicates friendliness and less

aggressive approach.

PERIWINKLE – Indicates productivity, eternal love and innocence.

DARK PURPLE – Indicates wealth, quality, fantasy and creativity.

TYPE OF OWNERSHIP

The Fantastique Company exercises “General Partnership” type of ownership. According

to allBusiness website, General Partnership is where partners divide responsibility for

management and liability, as well as the shares of profit or loss according to their internal

agreement. Equal shares are assumed unless there is a written agreement that states differently.

The company is owned equally, legally and exclusively to the following people:

ARIANE LOIS ALCANTARA, NIKKIE PAOLLO JANOLINO, JEREMIE ALAURIN, IRISH

MAE MAGANI and JOHN WIN TEASDALE. Owners of this company are passionately

dedicated to pursue and execute equality and equity in their own fields of service and leadership.
Faithful in maintaining and increasing the company’s assets while aiming to reduce and give full

responsibility to the company’s liabilities. All of this with a desire to balance both assets and

liabilities to prolong the life of Fantastique Catering and Event Services.

MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

According to Socialtables website, “the catering owners are expected “to perform many

of the same duties. Instead of being an employee, they are solely responsible for the success of

the business.”

To secure the company’s systematized nature at different aspects, the whole owner team

assigned the directory fields they will take full responsibility with.

Despite having a general-partnership company, with concern to everyone’s opinion/side,

Miss Alcantara is appointed to “call the shots” in terms of making very important business

decisions. According to indeed for employers website, “The President is tasked with providing

strong leadership for the company by working with the board and other executives to establish

short and long-term goals, plans and strategies while maintaining strong bonds to goods sellers

outside the country. She is also the Managing Director of the company wherein according to

Betterteam website, “a Managing Director is responsible for giving strategic guidance and
direction to the board to ensure that the Company achieves its financial vision, mission and long-

term goals.”

Every President needs a helping hand, Miss Magane takes the lead for being the Vice

President of Fantastique Catering and Event Services. According to Betterteam website, “The

Vice President of a company is usually the second or third in command and supports the

President by overseeing internal operations and stepping in when the President is unavailable.

The Vice President has a top-level leadership role in a company and oversees department

managers.” Miss Magane is also the Financial Director of the company wherein from Betterteam

website, “The role includes supervising accounting staff, overseeing internal controls, setting

financial targets, implementing fund-raising strategies, engaging with investors, developing

financial strategy, conducting feasibility studies, monitoring expenditure, overseeing annual

insurance, monitoring cash flow, evaluating investments, and managing tax compliance.”

Mr. Teasdale is the Food and Beverage Director of the Fantastique Catering and Event

Services. According to Sales com website, “Food & Beverage Director directs and oversees all

aspects of the organization's food and beverage planning and service, with duties to include
menu planning and costs, preparation and presentation of food and drinks, and adherence to

quality and safety standards. Plans, coordinates, and oversees special events.”

Mr. Alaurin is the Communications Director of the Fantastique Catering and Event

Services. According to the Graduate School of Political Management website, “Communications

directors create and manage communications strategies. Toward that goal, they leverage a variety

of communications skills as well as multiple years of experience working in domains such as PR,

marketing and/or advertising.”

Mr. Janolino is the Event Creative Director of the Fantastique Catering and Event

Services. According to ZipRecruiter website, “The duties of a director of events include

overseeing the planning, promotion, and logistics of various events. You may work for a

corporation, where your responsibilities revolve around planning and hosting promotional

events, press events, sponsored concerts, conventions, expos, and conferences.” Mr. Janolino is

also in charge of themed event blue prints, and suggestive aesthetics.

LEGAL FORM

CATERING CONTRACT
PERMITS

According to YKC Law website, the most common and basic business permit

requirements in the Philippines include:

Barangay Clearance – You can get a Barangay Clearance from the local Barangay where your

business is located. You would be asked to present a photocopy of your SEC/DTI/CDC

Registration and a contract of lease or TCT as well as pay a minimal Barangay Clearance Fee to

be able to get this.

Certificate of Registration – For sole proprietors, present your DTI Business Name Certificate,

while a Certificate of SEC Registration shall be presented by corporations and/or partnerships.

There are times when you may also be asked for Articles of Incorporation or Articles of

Partnership so have these documents ready too just in case.

Contract of Lease – If you are leasing your business’ area, however, if you own the place, a

copy of the Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT) or Tax Declaration is what you would provide.

Certificate of Occupancy – A sketch or pictures of your business’ location and Fire Inspection

Certificate will be required to get a certificate of occupancy.

Community Tax Certificate or CEDULA – This can be easily obtained at the City Treasurer’s

Office in your city hall.

Fire Safety Inspection Certificate or Fire Permit – To have this processed, you will be asked

for a few documents such as Building plans, Building permits, Barangay Business Clearance,

Fire insurance coverage, and recommendations from fire safety inspectors.


Building Permit and Electrical Inspection Certificate – There are a lot of papers and

documents required in order to acquire this permit and certificate. Make sure to have the

following prepared: complete and detailed building plan, lot plan, homeowners’ clearances (if

applicable), barangay clearance, fire safety requirements, Contract of Lease and authorization of

owner if renting or Land title, tax declaration, or tax receipt if owned, contractor’s business

permit, a sketch of the office location, old building permit (if applicable), bill of materials,

specifications, and structural computation.

Locational Clearance – Locational clearances are usually released within 3 days but may be

extended for up to 5 days if an inspection is considered necessary. You can get this at the Zoning

Office of your city hall by simply asking for the application form and submitting the following

requirements: A notarized Contract of Lease, Certificate of Occupancy (complete with the

Building Name and Unit number if applicable), Sketch or pictures of your business’ location,

Building Permit, Authorization from the owner (if you are renting), Certification of No

Renovation, and Declaration of Real Property Tax.

Sanitary Permit – Food and Non-food business companies are required to secure a sanitary

permit to make sure they follow the standards of the Sanitary Code of the Philippines. You

would usually be asked to provide a Chest X-Ray and 1×1 picture from each employee, payment

of sanitary permit and sanitary inspection fees, medical certificate or Health Card issued by the

City Health Officer or an authorized representative so you can get a sanitary permit.

LTO Franchising and Regulatory Board Permit – for services involving transportation.

Bureau of Food and Drug Administration Permit – for drugstores, bakeries, etc.

PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT
According to the partnership agreement, the company would like to highlight the

following statements:

Type of business – Catering business, General Partnership.

Partnership Name – Fantastique Catering and Event Services Company, FCES2020 Company

Management and Control – It is understood and agreed that the Managing Partner shall consult

and confer with the Partners before taking any steps resulting in any substantial change in the

operation or policies of the Partnership affairs. Partners shall have the authority to manage day-

to-day business affairs.

Partnership Contributions – Every partner must contribute equal amount of time, service,

asset, idea and money for the business to start up. The company prioritizes equity contributions

to help increase the company’s potential for profit.

Profits and Losses – Profits or Losses for any fiscal year shall be allocated among the Partners

in proportion to their ownership interests in the Partnership, unless a different allocation is

agreed to in writing by all of the Partners.


Term of Partnership – The Partnership shall become effective upon the execution of this

Agreement and shall remain effective until the Partnership is dissolved pursuant to the Code.

Withdrawal – The partnership may dissolve and be renewed if a partner withdraws. If a partner

withdraws from illegal pursuits, the partner is legally liable for the damages caused to the

company.

Death – The Partnership may acquire a new transferee or partner upon death of a formal partner

to continue the management of business. The partnership may not look for a new business

partner if there is a business inheritance agreement.

KEYS TO SUCCESS

Our main objective as a rookie is to be able to firmly establish Fantastique Catering and

Event Services as a partnership business placed in San Pablo City. We consider it as a stepping

stone to rookie success if first 10-20 customers with discounted tickets are served within this

year. If two of these are done, we will be considering establishing a mini-eatery in Brgy. Del

Remedio or somewhere in San Pablo City Plaza to further promote our catering business. We

also aim to create a Tiktok account if the business has executed a lot of productivity within this

year, to further promote the business. All of this with a passionate heart and wise mind to

achieve more small but important objectives for the company’s success.

Organizational Culture – FCES2020 is open for recommendations and suggestions and all will

be done through short surveys. FCES2020 seeks the Lagunense community as the voice they can

hear and digest so that they can provide better service. The company is determined to continue
their business despite hardships, FCES2020 is ready to face the challenges in the journey secured

with “Plan B’s” that can solve some inconveniences that might come their way.

Future-oriented – FCES2020 will never forget to input the future as their topic at their

meetings. FCES2020 already has plans for the future as their business will age and progress.

These are the following future plans of FCES2020:

1. In three years, they will apply for membership in FCAP (Food Caterer’s Association of

the Philippines). FCAP is established to unite all Philippine caterers under a common

banner in order to drive the industry to even greater heights, both locally and

internationally through interchange of ideas and education.


2. In future years, the company will give back for the community through donations,

especially in the Nazareth Buhay Pag-ibig Home For The Aged located at San Pablo

Cathedral, San Pablo City, Laguna.

3. FCES2020 is looking forward for foreign Partnerships from China and America for easier

deals in buying international ingredients. Thus, opening an opportunity to establish a

catering franchise in America and China as well.

4. FCES2020 is looking forward to have a brand ambassador its aim is to promote our

service and impart how special their day became more fantastic and unique with the

FCES2020 service.

5. FCES2020 is having some plans and talks about establishing a mini-eatery in San Pablo

City Plaza to further promote their business.
