1 Look at the photo and answer the questions. Sofia is staying in London for a month with Mark and

6 Work in pairs. One of you is a student, and the other is a member of your host family. Follow
the steps below and role-play a conversation. Then change roles. Use the expressions in the
Everyday English toolkit and the dialogue in Exercise 4.

You are going to attend a language school in a city in the UK. Decide for how long and whether you
want to join morning or afternoon classes. Decide which travel card you want to order. Respond to
questions from your host family.
