Dalmia Bharat Group, (DBG) 

is an Indian multi-industry company that was established by Ramkrishna

Dalmia and Jaidayal Dalmia in 1930. They merged their business with a Jain group.By the end of 1940,
the group was operating several sugar mills, cement plants, chemical factories, engineering plants, and a
paper mill. The Dalmia Jain group made compete with The Associated Cement Companies by setting up
cement factories all over India. Then eventually they stepped into other businesses like Bharat Bank,
Bharat Fire and General Insurance, Lahore Electric, Govan group of companies, two cotton mills, a dairy,
and three Andrew Yule jute mills. Later the Dalmia Jain group was dissolved and with an informal
conversation they brought up with Dalmia Groups. They placed their role in various sectors such as
cement, sugar, refractories, renewable energy and other businesses. The name Dalmia Bharat Limited
was adopted in 2012. In cement sector they achieved Lowest Carbon Footprint, being one of the leading
sugar producers they came across and attached with Green Growth, By making various acquisitions in
Germany and other European countries through its refractories business. Currently the group’s
companies collectively employ over 8500 people. In the last sixteen years, the group’s sales have grown
at a Compound Annual Growth(CAGR) of 24% to over ₹ 12,100 Cr in the year 2020 and the market cap
has also grown to ₹ 10,000 Cr in the year 2020. The company offers a range of cement variants through
its brand portfolio of three marquee brands: Dalmia Cement, Dalmia DSP and Konark Cement. These
brands are available as Portland Pozzolana Cement, Portland Slag Cement, Composite Cement and
