COURSE LEARNING OUTCOME

Upon completion of this course, students are expected to be

able to:

 Describe the conservation principles and analogies of

momentum, energy and mass transport.
 Develop the momentum, energy and mass balance according
to the chemical and process system.
 Justify the concept of transport phenomena, conservation
principles and flux laws of momentum, energy and mass
transport.
PROGRAM OUTCOME

• (PO1) Apply knowledge of mathematics, sciences,

engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization
to solve complex engineering problems.

• (PO2) Identify, formulate, research literature and analyse

complex chemical engineering problems reaching
substantiated conclusions using first principles of
mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.
