Porcelain Fused to Metal Crowns

See the little black ring around the top of the

tooth where the tooth joins to the gumline?

The three top front teeth are porcelain crowns

but they are fused to a metal. The black mark
comes from the metal.

This is a dangerous crown that can make you very

sick, especially if it is placed over top of a
mercury dental filling. Did you have this kind of crown over your root canals?

Gold Crown
This is a before and after picture dentists put on their
websites to sell a dental restoration.

In the top photo, from left to right: mercury dental filling

(shiny silver), a gold crown, another mercury dental filling.

It is very dangerous putting gold right next to mercury

because the gold will cause the mercury to leak more
mercury vapor. They use mercury to mine gold in gold mines
because there is a chemical attraction between the two
metals.

Stainless steel crowns

Another before and after picture showing a child’s

tooth that has had the cavity drilled out.

The Before photo shows where the cavity has been

drilled out in preparation for the filling and then the
crown. I am not sure what kind of filling the dentist
placed in the tooth, but here is a picture of the
stainless steel crown in the AFTER photo.

Don’t confuse the stainless steel crown with a mercury dental filling. It is not a mercury
filling since it covers the whole tooth with a cap. It is a crown made of very dangerous
metals---stainless steel which also contains nickel.
