The chart below will show you the rules at the moment of writing a verb in present simple; it is
important to keep in mind that these rules are used only in affirmative statements and the noun or
subject must be HE – SHE – IT.
2. For negative statements: there are two auxiliaries for present simple, but the verb is not
modified, it doesn’t matter the noun.
Example:
I watch TV at night. I don’t watch TV at night.
Laura watches TV at night. Laura doesn’t watch TV at night
