Tonnes Cu % Cu
In Luisha, it appears copper sulphides were precipitated in multiple stages. The earliest phase occurs in thick breccia zones and breccia veins. The sulphides in
these structures have subsequently converted to malachite (copper carbonate) which occurs as small specks and breccia fragments. Later planar carbonate ±
quartz veins and fine, overprinting, irregular veinlet networks generally contain chalcopyrite and chalcocite as small isolated grains.
The average grade is about 2%Cu.
Geological Information:
Rubaco have identified three priority areas within the Luishia Project that are highly prospective for Cu mineralization.
These priority areas have been identified from historical geochemical sampling, artisanal activity and explorations.
Cu mineralization within the southern central portion of the Luishia Project appears to occur near the "Petit Conglomerat"
diamictite / "Calcaire Rose" dolomite contact. Information from mapping observations and ground truthing indicates that an
approximately 5m wide zone of copper mineralization has been traced along a strike length of approximately 1500m.
