John Gill is a busy man. No matter how fast he works, it seems that he’s always left behind.
Consequently, when an employee brings Gill a problem, he is not a good listener. He would open his mail
or answer the telephone, and would constantly glance at his watch while the employee is talking. In
addition, he makes outright judgment and would always dive into conclusion on any given situation. As a
result, John keeps being blindsided by new problems in the organization that seem to get more and
more serious.

Poor Listening skills. John Gills is not good listener when their employee brings him a problem, his

2. Provide suggestions to Gill on how to become an effective listener.
I suggest to Gill to more active in listening and before gave the final conclusion to the problem, he

particular problem. The importance thing of what he going to do if that they have a problem, is to
listen and Annalise the problem carefully and give accurate solution for them, as to solve the
problem, to not the problem will become seriously damage to the organization.
