◆ Updating procedure of Regius170/190 Firmware

-Update procedure using Kit2:V100R12-


2).Overwriting CF cards:
Ι. Target objects [Procedure only for case (B) of I. Target object I.]
(A). SCB2_CF:V1.00R07 or later, MCB2 firmwar: V1.00R21 or later version of Regius 170/190 (1) Remove the CF card from Regius 170 and refer to 3-1. Updating procedure of
(B). SCB_CF:V1.00R04 or later, MCB firmware: V1.00R19 or earlier version of Regius 170* REGIUS170 CF cards of [CF card support tool instructions l to update the CF cards.
*Describes in later 2).Overwriting CF cards: for a detail (2) Install updated CF card to Regius170, and check the normal operation as (1) by pressing
down “Operation” button to check the reader operate normally.
Π. Requisites *After confirming (2) item is OK, go to process (3) explained below immediately.

III. Procedure of REGIUS 190/170 of <CS-3 Installation/Repair manual 1st edition>.

1. Upgrading JM/console *Do NOT use Update-Kit2:V1.00R07, 08, 09, 10 and 11 for updating, but make sure to use
V1.00R12.
If the console of the machine is CS-1/CS-3 and the software version is earlier than V2.00, *Do not upgrade using Update-Kit until overwriting the CF card is completed for (B) case of
upgrade the JM/Console using [CS-1CS-3 program V2.00R03 upgrading procedure] prior to the I. Target object. (If failed to do so, replace the MCB board and try the process (2)
upgrading Regius. Overwriting the CF cards again.)
-If the console of the machine is CS-2, upgrade the JM/console with CS-2 program V1.00R01 or *After overwriting the CF card according to the “”2) Overwriting CF cards,” never restore
later prior to upgrading Regius. the backup data that was saved before overwriting the CF card.
If you restore the backup data as the above case, you have to replace the CF card.
2. Upgrading Regius170/190
